It would be very nice to have a third mode in addition to Design and Prototype: Feedback or Review mode. When you toggle this mode, you see all the comments/annotations for each artboard. You can resolve comments. I'd also like to be able to categorize comments with global or custom categories (eg, Fix, Consider, High Priority, Low Priority, Dev Instructions).

Ability to comment, prioritize such comments within an Artboard would be awesome & post a direct link to the Artboard.

Yes, would be helpful to leave comments for design and dev specific tasks on exact x/y locations within the prototype page. Ideally, you would view the prototype side-by-side with a list of comments and responses. Would also be amazing to track versions of the prototype within this interface to see the questions/responses related to a feature that persists in multiple versions (but I know that is a potential can of worms :)

Let's have a complete solution ... As clients always have comments on shared prototypes, and giving a place for them to provide comments on each screen that would be much better than providing dozens of screenshots attached by an email.

Annotation feature would be great, saving hours sometimes days on big projects just marking up designs. Also less 3rd party software to use is a massive plus

Having a way to add annotations would be great.
I'd hate to add textfields (with specific look) to the design to make annotations, it would only make the design more complicated.

It would be super useful for my team if we could have some version of this:

- Share prototype with stakeholders
- They use commenting tools in their browser similar to (or better than) InVision
- These comments sync back to an open XD document
- Can review and complete feedback in a dedicated 'Comments' or 'Feedback' tab in the title bar of XD

That's not a big ask right!? :)

it's pretty much self-explanatory.. I thought a timeline would make sense here, you have a good look over the screens and you can jump to the last one immediately and read the feedback you've received.. when you hover over the number, you see who commented and which comments are new!
I chose a different color to show on which screen you currently are, so it's clear what's what.

This is huge. Without comment threads, notifications, (and recording) for prototypes hosted on xd.adobe.com – the share link is not super useful. I will still turn to tools like InVision or Moqups for prototyping until there are at least the baseline features that allow gathering feedback.

That said, you guys have gotten off to a really great start!

Ability to comment in the prototype. Helping remote teams to work together and comment about features and stuff in the prototype.

This will be usable with a commenting structure like InVision. Until then, I can't make the switch. Thanks for your hardwork guys - keep it up!

This would make this app an instant killed at my organization and replace multiple tools all at once. A good way of collecting and organizing client feedback is key. Also the ability to have them approve items within that feedback system.

I like the idea of a stand alone comment system, but it would also be great if it could be incorporated into online proofing systems such as proof HQ
