Show measurements between objects using hotkey

Holding a hot-key like option (⌥) would display measurement guides between the selected object and other objects. Similar to how Sketch handles this now... http://www.sketchapp.com/learn/documentation/10-canvas/3-measuring.html

    Also. This features is unusable with certain photos and colors. If you added a background block around the measurement and then wrote the text in it in white, then it will always be visible regardless of the background color/image. Please fix this.

    Also the measurement should be on-screen when zoomed in. Often you zoom in to see and you can't because it's halfway down the artboard, instead of on the screen next to where you are viewing.

    Why does it still suck and we can't adjust the spacing?? Adjusting while dragging or even typing in the measurement panel would be a much-needed and essential feature that XD lacks.

    Really? Why do I need to hold any key, it should be just visible. XD is just awful on so many levels. Using Figma now, and it's just there when you click an object. Simple.

    As a developer, receiving design files in XD, this is MISSION CRITICAL. There is currently NO WAY to see vertical distance between objects. I really hate XD for many reasons, but this is the main one.

    @joan_lafferty Did this happen? I can only get measurements between objects and the artboard, is there the ability to show measurements between two objects? I might just be missing how it works?

    View the spacing information between objects by holding down a key... say the alt/option key... like in Sketch.

    This will definitely streamline the work process.

    Adobe already have the same feature in Photoshop, please incorporate it into XD.

    I keep saying the word "essential" but for any designer there are bound to be many essentials. Distance between objects is undoubtedly one of them.

    This is huge. It's the most glaring feature missing for me so far, compared to Sketch, or even Photoshop.

    Yup, that very very useful to quickly check distance between elements by holding some key and moving mouse around.
