Fixed comments numbers
Clients often leave feedback in a comment referring to other comments with their number (eg. ".. see comments n.5.."). The issue is that as I modify the design based on their feedback I resolve each comment, and when they loose their original number because they shift as I resolve them, I can't resolve some comments because I don't know which comment they refer to. I think it would be a great improvement not to shift numbers of comments as they are resolved to keep reference number consistent throughout design versions and comment references.

Transition between overlays
The idea is quite simple and it exists already in Figma. When you have a dialog displayed as an overlay, it often changes its content as the user interacts with it (I don't want to create a component for that - it shouldn't be the purpose of the component feature and it makes the component panel messy.) So when creating a link between 2 states of an overlay, I would like to have an option to switch the overlays.
Then It would be awesome if the option "close overlay" would close the overlay (the "previous artboard" is not helpful here).

Dual Screen support
It would be great if some features to support dual-screen laptops, like zenbook duo, could be added. Similar to the control panel support available for adobe photoshop.
Meanwhile, it would have been nice if the panels were dockable at least. Since the panels could not be docked aside, we are not able to take the panels to a separate screen.

SAP Components & Icons plugin
A plugin would be really helpful to have components like buttons, footers, headers etc and SAP Design language and icons to access them easily.
Those who have worked with SAP Design systems will know the pain.

Color and Text Style Compliance
Being able to quickly see whether or not a stray color or text style is used that is not in the Assets panel would be so helpful. Easily reconciling any texts or colors that aren't part of your design system. Appears that you can kind of do this in the inspect mode on a shared link, but being able to do this in design mode would be so helpful and speed up auditing designs before handing off.

Longer component names in side panel on XD Share view.
I can't see the component names in an XD Share link because they're long. I'd like the ability to either 1) view the whole name on hover, 2) resize the right hand nav panel to be wider or 3) have any long information scroll on hover. Truncating the name with an ellipsis doesn't help anyone.

Make shortcut hotkeys for text align (left, center, right)
There should be keyboard hotkey shortcuts to quickly edit the text alignment.
SHIFT+ OPTION + L (Used to pull up my CC Library.. not as important.)
SHIFT+ OPTION + R (Used to reload my plugins... not as important )
SHIFT+ OPTION + C (NOT IN USE... maybe use this shortcut and have the 3 options cycle each time you hit it, left, center, right.)19 votes -

View entire artboard in shared prototype
Description
I would like to be able to zoom out the design and instead of having the design become smaller, I want to be able to view a larger portion of the design. In other words, the viewable height should be expandable.Value
This would allow me to create screenshots of sections of the design which don't fit in the default viewable portion of the design. At the moment I would have to create multiple screenshots and combine these screenshots together myself.And it would also allow people to view the entire page design at once without having to scroll…

Clip content instead of masking
It would be good if an option could be put in all forms or at least when several elements are grouped that would make the content that we put inside it clip the content so that it would not be seen from the outside, just as artboards do. It seems to me something primary that should be because having to create a mask with the work that it gives just for that is a lot.

File > Open > Shared with you > Sort by: File owner name
When opening a file previously shared with me, I wish there was a way to search or filter by a teammate's name.
Today I wanted to open an older file that I know John S. shared with me but I cannot recall the file name or when it was shared. If I had the option to filter by people who have shared with me, this would help track down the file and save
much time on searching.Current workaround is to search through email notifications.

Update a Library with a single click
It would be great if libraries could be updated with a single click rather than the multiple click, pop-up window, sometimes blue bar on the bottom too, senseless process currently in place.
Updating assets in a document using a shared library could also do with "some" thought.

Ability to turn off Coediting
Add the ability to turn off coediting. It's creating all kinds of issues, and can't be turned off. It's absolutely appalling that this feature would be introduced without the ability to turn it off after enabling it.

XD Desktop preview size is different
It seems like there is a difference between the width in the desktop preview size, than its actual pixel width.
the artboard screen width size is 1920px
the screenshot of the desktop preview size is 3492pxmaybe xd should think of alerting the user that in those cases the preview isn’t the actual size, so it will be less misleading?

"Pin" a plugin to the sidebar
Since the left toolbar has quite a lot of space on larger screens, it'd be ideal if you could pin a favorite plugin or three there. I sometimes find myself using a couple plugins back and forth, but it's quite a few clicks to back out, choose other plugin, back out, choose other plugin, over and over again. It'd be awesome if my favorite plugins were just a click away.
I'd propose the plugin's icon could pinned to the left toolbar above/below the Library, Layers, Plugins icons. It could be limited to 3 maybe, and you could star them or…
