Update a Library with a single click
It would be great if libraries could be updated with a single click rather than the multiple click, pop-up window, sometimes blue bar on the bottom too, senseless process currently in place.
Updating assets in a document using a shared library could also do with "some" thought.

This is sorely needed. Using a library with many components and working back and forth between the library document and the documents where the components are used, the amounts of times I open that panel and click update I can't even count. The panel itself is a whole other issue but if we could just ignore the panel and add something like this I think it would solve most peoples issues.
Simple persistent UI that displays if you are using components linked from a library file. Name, current status, and update button.

Glad I'm not the only one, for a UX tool the UX is pretty poor

Stuck here also... the worst is that I remember easier way to update libraries. Now I'm feeling idiot. Simply I see this useless blue dot at the left bottom. I click, and it hides the panel... nothing more. I've been looking inside the (now at the top) Win10 menus, but can't find anything useful... Clicking back to the Libraries... nor any clue about this blue message...
Now I'm working knowing the libraries aren't updated, but I don't want to waste more time clicking and clicking randomly.

The way in which shared libraries are updated begs a lot of questions.
If I click on the icon on top of the assets panel, why do I then get a popup asking me to update again? Surely a single click is enough as pointed out below.
The library updates with a single click if I use the momentary blue bar at the bottom of the document instead.
After I do this, updating the components within a document that uses this shared library is also ridiculous.
First I get a a blue dot on the components icon to let me know there's changes.
If I happen to have the shared library in view, I have to navigate AWAY from it and to the documents assets to then update them from there. Why can't they be updated from the shared library view? That's where the components come from in the first place!
Seeing this kind of flows raises MANY questions about the UX in XD. This is just one example out of many convoluted, multi-click, popup flows currently present in XD.
