    It's painful to work in XD with type. There are other formatting issues as well.

    When press ctrl + b or ctrl + i and start typing, it has no effect. These shortcuts only work if I select a pre-typed text and then use the shortcuts.

    Similarly if I select a font weight from the font weight menu and start typing, the weight automatically changes back to what it was earlier. It also only works if I select a pre-typed text and then change weight from the menu.

    I expect the font weight to remain what I set it as before I start typing, and not change automatically. Also, I expect the ctrl + i and ctrl + b to change selected font weight when I press them without selecting any text. The current behaviour is very annoying, counterintuitive and inconvenient. I hope you fix it at the earliest.
