Hello,
Padding is nice ! It's now possible to create a button which automatically rezised with my label.
Let's go further now.
I've a component with padding ON. This component has also a hover state. In this hover state I've got a beautiful animation using a mask with the same shape as my button.
Problem is when when I changed my label my button width change but not my mask layer. So my hover state doesn't work anymore. When the size of my component dynamically changed all layers with responsive mode need to resized also dynamically.
Tks !

Since some of you have mentioned wanting this for baseline grids, you might want to upvote this one (Baseline Grids) as well: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13030764

Hello,
Could be interesting to change the increment value if needed. For exemple, working on 8px unit grid moving elements with a 10px increment is not efficient.
Tks.

Hello,
Sometime in the life of a component a copy becomes better than its parent :). At this moment it could be interesting to promote it to official so it's not necessary to create a totaly new component.
Tks.

Absolutely right, like a real app.
> events bubble up. The super-component composed of sub-components have the ability to hook each events trigger by the sub-component.
> event go down. Super-component can trigger event hook by sub-component.Like this each sub-component keep their life and if they are part of a super-component this one become the chef.

If you work on this issue you will give us possibilities to create real components in our design system. Today create components with states in a design system is a complete waste of time.
Even a simple button with a label and common states become pain in the *** :) when you try to use it across your prototypes... Just because you have to override your "Label placeholder" for each state... And when you do that because you override the original component then it's like you have no more design system... And here begin a vicious circle impossible to break.
