    Description:
Currently the type tool retains the previous fill color and cannot be changed before typing, which is fine.
But the font color needs to be changeable before or while typing.

Why is this valuable to you:
While roughing out a design I use mostly white and gray colors. If I draw a white shape and then go to put text down I can't see the text or even find it.

Keeping the previously retained color fill is fine, I just need to change the color to see what I am typing without clicking away, reselecting it, changing the fill, then go back to the type tool to add or edit the text.

Currently I keep a gray square, next to my workspace, just to select before I place rough text.

Right now if you start the text, click the fill color, and reclick to start typing it reverts to the previous fill.

If you start the text, select a color, and hit ESC it keeps the color selected, but reverts as soon as you type a letter.
