When I worked in an IT support role back in the 1990's we had a problem with different versions of MS Word used throughout the enterprise and home locations. Remember Word 95, Word 97, Word 2000 etc? It was a real headache.
But things matured over time and compatibility issues got eliminated.
Now over 20 years later Adobe are giving us the same problem.
