Update: one of my main uses of this would be to pass Font Awesome icon names to devs. Today I found a way to do that (at least with Font Awesome PRO 5). Installing Font Awesome as a system font and using ligatures to write the icon names those names will be kept on the "content" box in design specs!

Showing layer names is still useful for other cases like asset links or other text indications.

This would be awesome, as designers we sometimes struggle to pass the specifications of the designs on to the developers. Exporting any tipe of XML code for android would help to pass those specs. This code must not be production ready by any means and it's objective would be to get the right specs for the developer.

I would like to add that multiple states could be toggled by actions like tapping on the symbol, one of it's elementos or other symbols.

This would enable doing things like expandable objects, animated elements within a screen and other.

Hi, everyone! In the August release of Adobe XD, we’ve introduced the ability to consume colors and character styles from your existing Creative Cloud library. We’re working on bringing you the ability to bring in graphics (both bitmaps and vectors) as well, so we’re keeping this feature open until we get that out the door.

In the meantime, if you have feedback on what we’ve already released, please do file a new idea so that we can get community feedback on it.

If you haven’t seen the update yet, launch the Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the gear icon, and select “Check for App Updates.”
