This is just my annual reminder that the fact that this feature has not been implemented yet is comical and disturbing at the same time. See you all in 2024.

Hey XD team - seriously? June 2022 and this absolutely BASIC and ESSENTIAL feature is still not implemented MORE THAN 6 YEARS after the initial request??? Apparently we are doomed to start exporting artboards to HTML before we can create a normal HTML border on a rectangle... Please consider implementing this feature before the total AI integration into XD that creates designs based on human speech and voice recognition.

Yet another year has passed and we still can't create a rectangle with 2 different borders. But hey, at least we have a fancy new plugin API and 3d transforms. Who the hell would be designing text inputs, tabs, popups, dropdowns, tables, lists and panels when they could be writing new plugins and adding sweet 3d transforms to them. Guys, if Tesla took your approach they would have added the wheels 5 years after introducing autopilot.

Adobe, as you know many of your users are using XD to create layouts and experiences for web-based products like websites and weapps. Creating a single-sided border is probably the most generic and basic web functionality that there is. Please fix this ASAP. It is unbelievable that this basic feature has not been implemented yet after so many years since the original request. What do you think is more - the number of clients who would want to use some complicated feature or the number of clients who would love to set their right-hand borders to grey while still having the ability to define a shadow on that same rectangle?
