Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Linking, as any basic functionality of a text editor, is a must have.

    Embedding would also be a game changer.

    I totally need it, I’ve been using XD for about 2 years and love it. I get excited every update but this is one feature that comes up internally many times and I do my best to avoid using clunky tools like axure and framer. Please do this!!

    My job wants me mock-up a UI where pressing a button opens up another browser... so yeah this is needed in the everyday work force for us designers. I'd rather not have to use PowerPoint...ew

    I need it also.

    For me as a UX designer, such functions as e.g. linking a button to an external page, decisive.

    And to be honest, the missing elements in XD are all functions that stop or continue the workflow!°
