My GOD. Adobe, GET. ON. IT.

This is seriously insulting.

So, no hover or interaction animation yet. Let's see how many users jump on the Studio bandwagon when it releases on Windows. XD's been great, don't get me wrong. It's just very clear that the Top item hasn't been looked at for a looong while. That or feedback to users isn't a priority for Adobe.

ADOBE - it seems like XD is just a playground for your developers and designers ... you should focus on functions your customers really need. I´m sure you know the Story of NOKIA, ADOBE ;)

Pure speculation - Adobe made a bad prediction (influenced by Apple and Google perhaps?) to prioritize mobile interactions, and desktop (Microsoft) experiences are being "backlogged," never mind the fact that desktop browsing still comprises half of all web traffic.

Mobile is plateauing. Last year was the first year of mobile penetration slowdown in a decade. No mobile experience will ever replace more screen real estate and more detailed/complex inputs. It's time to stop de-prioritizing tools for *half of all web traffic UI design.* If you have any plans for this software to last longer than the next couple years, you have to prioritize desktop interactions, because they aren't going away.

Sketch, InVision, Axure, Affinity Designer, Framer, Protopie, Atomic, Principled, etc. etc. are already eating your lunch. Get moving please.

I think the hover status are essential for prototyping, it's possible that Adobe has never thought about the most basic things?

Any desktop based UI requires some sort of hover effect. This is a necessity.

Please, for all things right and holy, add hover feature to XD - its the bread and butter with mayonnaise, smoked salmon and pickled cucumber of micro interactions.

This is a much-needed feature. I work on a desktop CAD application that has millions of users, and XD is my primary design tool, but I still use Invision for prototypes only because it supports hover and XD does not.

This is currently the only feature keeping my product team from fully adopting because our product is a desktop based web app.

HOVER IS IMPORTANT!

When I share a prototype with real users, they sometimes ignore it because of missing visual cues such as Hover.

Prototypes get shared with users and customers, they are not Power Point presentations.

Please, this is mega important.

Really doesn't give me a lot of confidence Adobe listens to their customers at all this. The most voted, most requested feature for nearly 3 years and it's still in the backlog. That speaks volumes about this product really doesn't it. Not only that but it's an utterly essential feature. Face palm

Adobe XD Team, i miss this, would nice available this feature

From a company that managed flash for so many years, how difficult is it to add decent (controllable) animation/interactions

We have the luxe auto animate but a simple hover effect we miss :(
