Dark Interface (overall UI including side panels) / Dark mode
The option for a darker interface like Photoshop and Illustrator would be great, especially when working at night.

I need the dark mode, it's impossible for me to keep working with this program for long hours.
It's 2020, you just need to invert the colors, why can't you do this, is it too hard for you to change ffffff to 000000????

Even external developers can implement a dark mode, why not officially 🤔 -

Include the Dark theme in XD as soon as possible.

Why do all other adobe product feature this, but XD is left out? Is this a feature I should PAY for? I mean, if that's the case, I don't mind.

How is this 4 years in the backlog when it would be super easy to implement?

I can't believe this is still not yet implemented ! Adobe your customers spend days on computer displays, THIS IS NOT A COMFORT FEATURE, THIS IS A HEALTH FEATURE !

XD is one of my favorite design tools. It's made me loathe working in Photoshop. But, for a UX/UI tool, the rigid interface and workflow is extremely frustrating and surprising.
I suggest a swift and meaty upgrade to the following:
Dock-able tool pallets - working with layers and the library of elements we've created is painstaking slow, resulting in millions of wasted clicks back-and-forth in a constant search for layers and components. (see UX, workflow, and panel preference control of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animator, and AfterEffects)
Ability to show thumbnails of components at any size for easy identification - identifying components would be simpler and quicker if the thumbnails were larger (see Photoshop layers panel icon size preferences)
Ability to darken workspace - and accessibility feature that every major brand UX is embracing (see Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animator, and AfterEffects, Chrome, Gmail, Apple everything, Microsoft Office, etc)
Ability to access and work with component states and layers more easily - navigating component states and the layers within in is a challenge. When changing states, folders close and layers refresh. If your component is made of several nested layers, the workflow of editing the states of a component becomes a tedious process of back-and-forth layer hunting.
The upgrade to the component system you made in the last year have been game changing, but frustrations and bottlenecks in workflow are a making working with XD slower and less enjoyable.

I would love to see this feature implemented. I spend most of my day in this application. There is always an internal sigh of relief when I have to switch to one of the Adobe products or other software with dark mode, even if it is only for a moment.

This is the single most annoyance that keeps me from using XD for real. Adobe, listen to your users please.

Thats so sad... my whole team is switching to invision because of things like this one. Adobe does not give a sh*t on what their customers want, no matter how many votes feature requests have... And they keep wondering why their market shares are going down...
