Please, Adobe! PS, AI and ID have already had this feature for years, why did you leave XD out? PLEASE! 4 YEARS!

I can't understand why this still hasn't been implemented. It's October, 2020, and I'm sitting here working on wireframes while my eyes bleed.

Darkmode is the new standard, i feel like XD is the only program nowadays that doesn't have dark mode. Such a shame. My eyes hurt.

Dark Mode/Theme to be ease to use is so, so much bright! Its heart my eyes. Please add this!!!!

Even Whatsapp desktop have dark theme!... hahaha

There is a way to make the xd dark theme however, the canvas and the components in the assets section will still remain intact. Which still hurt our eyes. Search for darkxd in github. Be sure to back up the original files before making any changes. Also note that adobe will likely to update the application, with this you will need to manually edit the file again for it to work.

It would be awesome if we can help each other by finding the file that needs to be edited to make the canvas dark too. If not we can wait a few more years since adobe is not interested with this feature or probably if they make this it would be not free. Also one way is to make a plugin. XD is very powerful that It can shorten your eye life span XD.

If you are also interested search for dark reader plugin in chrome and protect your eyes people.

Hi, my name is Bharath and i'm a UI/UX Designer. I love XD like many others and i use Adobe Suite for my projects but i most of the products like Photoshop, Illustrator have dark themes whereas Adobe XD still has the basic white theme which is hard on eyes specially when working at night in a room. It will be nice to have an option to switch between night and day mode. Can you please help as soon as possible.

More than that, a lot of us are now used to working with dark modes interfaces, and landing on a bright interface again feels confusing and uninviting. Just a matter of habit really, but still, giving users a choice in the matter feels important to me.

Software interface available in dark mode as all other CC softwares - please this is really important for both people visual comfort and energy savings
