Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview

Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.

To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:

MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.

Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!

XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

    I have worked with Adobe After Effects for over 20 years when it was Cosa After Effects. It revolutionized the video desktop industry. Combining the video and animating capabilities of After Effects with Adobe XD would
    do the same for the UX/UI design community.

    There are 7000 votes and 1000 comments on this ... so true and no reactions. In would pay for it.
    its 2020 and everything works with videos. Cant use AdobeXD if I want to make a mockup for investors.

    Even Microsoft Power Point has this feature, it is unbelievable that Adobe XD doesn't have it.
