Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview

Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.

To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:

MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.

Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!

XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

    I honestly did not believe XD didn't support video until a coworker directed me here, but hey at least Photoshop support photos.

    Sitting by my desk with a 24-hour brief, wishing this feature was available. But alas there is no solution.

    I'm absolutely amazed that this is still only classed as "FEATURE-STARTED"
    Closing in on a year from it being started.... Neary FOUR YEARS Since originally posted.
    Yet the feature from January was to be able to draw a star. A STAR.

    There is little point in asking for feedback, bug reports and feature requests if you continue to ignore your paying customers.

    Just please give an update. Some interaction with all 7k+ of us here all waiting for an update on this request.

    If it is problematic.... Say something. If it doesn't work.... Tell us. If it's never going to be possible.... Be honest.
    If its nearly done... but you are just sorting out a couple of little bugs.... just talk to us!

    The January update includes a star vectorshape editor.... Sorry, but I never needed anything less than this! I am downloading InVision Studio right in this moment.
