Being able to create and share Style Guides to be used within teams. For instance, one member of a team can create a style guide with several object/paragraph/font styles to be shared with team members working on the same project. Within the object style allowing dynamic styles of say, a button, to be shared would be helpful as well.101 votes
Please include the option to control ligatures.12 votes
Press and hold capability for buttons with the ability to specify the length of the hold.
Also would be good to allow multiple press and holds of different lengths on the same button that go to independent destinations. Example press and hold button for 2 seconds goes to artboard a. Press and hold same button for 4 seconds goes to artboard b.11 votes
Would love to work with My Typekit fonts inside XD. UX design without Character Panels such as in Illustrator is almost illegal.77 votes
It is very easy to navigate the Xd interface with a magic mouse or touch pad however when I am working with my Wacom (which is often) I loose some of the functionality such as zooming and being able to move around the interface with a 'hand' tool option 'H' like in Illustrator and Photoshop. If one of the artboard falls off the screen/interface, I am unable to simply drag the view to accomodate the artboard. If I am using the Wacom I have to go to the magnification setting in the upper left hand of the interface which is cumbersome. Would it be possible to increase support for Wacom tablets? Thank you.

Please note that the Wacom tablet on Windows only is considered a pen experience, which is not yet supported on the canvas. You should be able to select the tools along the side and interact with XD in the property inspector. We’re working on that particular experience.
However, I’d like to keep this open to be able to talk about what specific issues Mac users are experiencing. Please do add these in the comments!

What is it with Adobe's hatred of sound? They keep coming out with apps that make it easier to assemble web sites yet _ALWAYS_ exclude sound. There are a lot of creative projects I'd like to work on with Adobe but they require sound files. From a web site where you click and drag loops to mix the audio live, to a kid's virtual zoo where you click on an animal to hear the sound it makes, to a site made for visually-impared people who have to navigate by sound, to a site about how orchestras work where you can "conduct" based on how you move the mouse around the various instruments, and just basic music snippets visitors can click on to hear samples. But I can't do any of these because Adobe has this intense, all-consuming vitriolic hatred of audio. Every time they come out with a new web app they leave out everything to do with sound, and when I ask about this Adobe just stares at me in befuddled confusion as if I was insane for even thinking it was worth mentioning in the first place.
Why, Adobe? Why exclude sound from web apps? Why completely ignore ears as if they were never there? What is your problem with audio?

Would be very handy to adjust letter spacing in pixels. Because in CSS you also do it that way … and rather more .. there is no half pixel …10 votes
I wish I had the ability to select an image and be able to update the file or change the image with out having to import another image if it is exactly the same size or I updated the design.19 votes
You should be able to drag a new image file directly onto the old image. Does that work well for you?
If not, please let us know how you’d like the workflow to be different.
Allow adobe comp app the capability to export to experience design. Also allow users to select a new project or add to an existing one. This would allow users to create on the go.74 votes

We might use XD for a lot of different design options. Web, iOS, Android, AppleTV etc... It would be nice, for a given platform to have specific actions of protyping for the most common ones (native interaction basics). In the form of a library of interaction behaviour.5 votes
Repeat Grid overrides / inheritance (some styles differ in an item, rest still sync with other list items)
It will be great if repeat grid work in way like this:
I want to show how recommended item will look like. I'm double-clicked wished element title and turn off "Fill" checkbox in "Inherit" panel. Now I can change color only for this title, but if I will change font-size, for example, all titles will change it, because "font-size" checkbox is active. If I click "Fill" again, my title will be back to gray.
All checkbox is active by default — so behavior will be just like now and it will take full control and understanding what and when happens.24 votes
Would be great to see a Prototype Preview of the responsive design, how the layout changes, when the window is scaled. If there are different artboards created for the devices, it's great to see how it switches dynamically.25 votes
In Protoype mode, be able to select multiple links and edit them as a batch
Reduce number of lines between linked artboards: (when an entire artboard is selected or you select all)
when two artboards link to each other, instead of having two, three or four lines, have one line (with two or more arrows or another color) to show the two or more links.
This makes it easier to get an overview of the entire applications dartboard links (app/site structure)

Being able to change the reference point from the upper-left to center or lower right or whathaveyou is so useful in other Adobe apps. Having to do everything with top-left x/y is a pain when trying to position objects by their center.

It would be great to have the possibility of integrate Comet's design files into a Bridge-Based workflow.
Support for XMP metadata, possibility to see/use the color swatches used into a document, quick thumbnails preview (Like ID files), keywording, etc...
Unfortunately many apps made by adobe over the time use files that does not integrates into Bridge workflow, like Muse, Edge Reflow, Edge Animate, other...
When making a mask with a image, it would be great if there was an option for auto fill the object to the frame proportionally. Like the feature in indesign. There you have different options (screenshot, its dutch hope you guys know what I mean).
The shortcut I use a lot is Fit Content Proportionally when I change the size of a shape.13 votes

Thanks for your feedback! This feature is already in our backlog – not sure when it will arrive, but we’re aware of the need for it.
