I need this for a simple thing: to show a dropdown menu items its hover states and have each of these dropdown menu items linked up to other artboards via tap trigger.

I assumed this was going to work and thought I was doing something wrong here. Now I see I didn't. This only seem to work when these menu (dropdown) items aren't nested into a tap or hover trigger of the 'main' menu item that opens this dropdown after a 'tap' trigger.

At least I can't get it to work (but according to the video below it should....)?

When buttons are instances of a master and all say different things -- I want the hover effect to be the same for all of them.

While you can't nest 2 hovers, you can combine a 2nd click state and hovers. Please see video, it allows for at least some adjustments.

This is critical for a nav menu drop down with nested items. Basic stuff. A few lines of code I imagine.

For the love of Christ Adobe! I've just spent ages creating hover dropdown menus for my prototype and now I realise I can't link from the text in the dropdown!!?? What's the point of having a hover to create dropdowns (finally) but not giving us the ability to link from within???

Yes, nested <li> hover states is a must. What's the point of having a dropdown menu if you can't select an item in that dropdown? Further, it's bad UI to not indicate to the user which li item they're on with a hover state.

I'm trying to work this out now, just about to link nested items to other pages, I hope that works....

I cant make buttons with hover appearing on card hover because of that. Button is appearing on card without hover, but with tap ability only. Hover inside hover doesnt work.

When a component is made of differents other components this is not possible to keep hover animation of those inner components.
Very annoying to animate properly a menu for exemple.

This is a really important feature. A necessity for any prototyping software that has components/symbols. Being unable to create something as simple as highlight/selection within a dropdown menu component is not great.

Yes. Nested Hovers are very important. At the Moment the functionality is very limited. Even linking to other artboards inside the hover doesn't seem to work.

I have multiple cases needing this. As the video shows, I have components and each one has its own hover state. When I create another component (the group below) that contains these subcomponents, the individual hover states doesn't work.

    I agree!

When I tested the new hover-update, this was the one thing that is lacking.

I have a need to display a nested dropdown menu utilizing the new hover states. I can create a dropdown on hover no problem, but trying to add a secondary dropdown menu based upon the first dropdown menu has me at a roadblock
