Hi Adobe, please fix this issue- it is VITAL

Que un archivo no pueda guardarse para versiones anteriores del progrma es ir contra toda lógica de trabajo colectivo y colaborativo. Es inadmisible que Adobe XD no pueda guardarse para otras versiones cuando las actualizaciones son cada vez más exigentes con el hardware.

FIX THIS!

Last update, I ran into a issue at school KASK Hogent.
I started this workshop about adobe XD.
For my course I created starter files en end files, so that students can compare at the end of the day.
My CC updated over night and I didn't even noticed there was an update at first.
So I saved as the new version without even knowing.
The problem I had was that some students had an older Mac, that could not be upgraded systemwhise. They couldn't install the last version of XD. The result was that I struggled for 1 hour to give them all some kind of start file. Because they couldn't open my files. What a bummer.
Please fix this. Some students can't even work with XD now.

WTF IS ADOBE DOING WITH THE 15 BILLION DOLLARS OF REVENUE THEY TAKE IN EVERY YEAR? (Besides making their software worse and worse with every update.)

This is garbage! I am so happy our studio will be able to move away from Adobe for good in the next few months. Going to save us thousands of dollars every year, and even more in headaches and frustration.

Congrats Adobe, you will be losing out on the subscriptions from our 50+ person design studio this year.

I think that because of this big problem, I will ask my company to immigrate to other applications, It makes a lot of problems for us.

This was a known pain point with ID as well. At least it had IDML for safety.

Please let us save XD files for older versions OR change file format that it could be opened with older versions!! (Works great in Photoshop...)

This is a joke... really thinking about migrating to a different UI software.

As adobe XD developers updates the software and completely disregard gamepad developers, they should, at least, give us the opportunity to revert our files to a previous version. Now it does not work, its completely messed up, I cannot work, and I cannot use an older version. I am here considering my options, using Framer, figma, or creating my file from scratch .... they are all bad. We do need to be able to revert our files to an older version.

Please let us save our XD file on an oldest version.

Explaining my case:

I had my prototype that was working properly. You guys made the update, now I can´t work.

I noticed sometime later that my issue was the update.

I tried to revert Adobe XD to the latest stable version.

I cannot open my file there anymore because I saved it on an updated version.

Now I have 2 options: Wait you guys to fix my issue.

Redo my 7months prototype in another tool.

I wish I have a third option:

Save my XD file in an older version and come back to work.

The latest version of XD 40.1.22 has a bug where my cloud documents aren't able to be shared with other contributors to the project. So when I rollback to the previous version (where this wasn't an issue) I now can't open the document. It's kinda ridiculous. The idea of cloud collaboration is broken. There's a pandemic. We can't get into our offices/studios to collaborate. The fundamental feature of this app's usefulness is borked. Please fix.

as a user i would like to open any version regardless of the software version. Is there anything work to have a universal extension?
