Embed used fonts in XD file

It would be really useful for me as an developer to have the fonts embedded in the XD file (like Photoshop does).

I use the XD file made by our designer to extract al sizes / font-sizes / line-heights and spacings to determine what the generic styles for specific components are going to be.

But when I don't have the current font installed on my PC yet, I can't see which parts of the design are bold / italic and how the font-sizes hold up to certain design blocks ( because measurements aren't the same between all fonts ). XD also doesn't tell you that you don't have this font on your PC so usually you notice this to late.

To circumvent this I currently need to have the flat image file of the current page open and next to that have the XD file open, just to determine the correct look and feel.

When fonts would be embeded this would greatly improve the workflow within XD.

Photoshop does not actually "embed" the font. It creates a preview of the font. If you don't have the font used in a PSD file it will warn you that the font is missing when you attempt to make changes to the type it will warn you that the font is missing. Because of the nature of the responsive design preview in XD the ACTUAL font would need to be embedded, not just an SVG outline of the font.
Font foundries would never agree to their fonts being "embedded" into a file. Legally speaking, font licenses are just like any other third party software license.

It is kind of crazy that it has been over 4 years and nobody at Adobe has responded to this feature request AT ALL. Adobe, at least post least an explanation of WHY embedding 3rd party fonts is problematic.

I need my shared prototypes to render identically to how I designed them in XD; particularly the fonts.

This is an essential feature. Please add to XD.

    Dear Adobe (experts!);
A request was made so that UX designers could EMBED true and special fonts in Adobe XD so that when shared with other developers/designers, they can view the same original fonts used.

When will this feature become available?

Or if can't embed, at least make the workflow easier on adding missing fonts through Adobe fonts. Right now all I get is an orange exclamation point, only when I have that font selected. There should be a quick way to add any needed fonts if I don't have them installed.

    Hello Adobe Develpers,
Have you ever realized how challenging it is for designers not to be able to embed the special fonts we use on our computers (Mac or Win) prior to sending the source file to another designer (who does not have the special font installed in his computer).

Are you working on a solution?

Embedding fonts would make things so much more predictable for all parties involved in the iteration. Please find some way to show the actual typeface that is used in the shared XD files instead of the outcome being random fallback fonts.

Also, the ability to create a bundle/package of dependencies (images, fonts, etc) like InDesign could be a solution to this. In our case, we sometimes want to share the file between designers and other designers or developers. Rather than telling them "get this list of fonts," it would be nice to just pass the fonts along with the file.

As a Designer i want to see my Prototype on multiple Plattforms e.g. Mobile Devices.
Currently if i use a Font which is no Standard Font of the Device, a Fallback Font will be used in the App.

For this reason Embedding of the Font is also usefull for Designers.
