Full featured top menu for Windows 10
Get rid of the hamburger menu, and give windows users a full on top menu like in Photoshop or Illustrator. Hiding options behind an icon is a major pain. As a user of both Mac and Windows, I'd love for the program to be the same across both operating systems.
You can now access a fully featured top menu for Windows 10 in today’s release of XD! If you don’t see the update immediately, go to the Creative Cloud Desktop app, select the Update tab, the …, and “Check for updates.”

Can you at least just put Shortcuts in the hamburger menu for now, so we dont need to refer to a shortcuts list everytime we need to do a specific function
https://www.xdguru.com/adobe-xd-shortcuts/
Like Hamburger > Shortcuts
(But also make the shortcut function to work as well when clicking on it)While you create the UI/UX design for the "think Office" using the new Windows paradigm, at least the users can have a fully functional App just like the Apple Version (just for now...)(like a transition phase to the new UWP Paradigm)

I am currently taking an Adobe Xd course. It is very difficult to use this new version of the program ... the one without top menu, especially since in the videos in the course an older version is used that has top menu.
I think it's a big UX issue. -

As a new user, I just created a point-text object, and was looking to find a similar menu, as the video guides (mostly mac, thankfully also showing Win shortcuts). I was looking for the Object option; you claim it's been moved to the hamburger menu; but I checked there's nothing there regarding the selected object. I'm starting my career in UX/UI for particularly this reason; how are basic usability features ignored for such a huge user group? Why would you blindly follow industry best practices for a platform when it's users are obviously not on board? How much user research was done with windows users specifically before you decided to submit to UWP?

I'm very disappointed with the fact that this product is so hard to use. I watched a few tutorials on Youtube and got so frustrated! Because of the missing menu bar I couldn't follow any of the tutorials. I spent one hour trying to do basic things in this program, getting more and more angry with the design.
I then came across dozens of people with similar problem and I can't believe that Adobe is not listening to their users! This is completely unacceptable. Why can't you make the Windows 10 version as usable at the Mac one?
I am definitely going to uninstall this rubbish from my computer. It's one thing if there's been a genuine mistake in designing things, quite another when dozens of users literally beg the makers of the product to make it more usable. This is a complete disrespect of your customers. I am shocked! A total waste of my time I could have used to finish my college project. -

Trying to make a mask on XD and I use windows 10 on a PC. Right clicking the image doesn't bring up the option, and the hamburger menu doesn't give you the option for "object" either. I found a page of shortcuts. Unfortunately, once you mask something, there isn't really an option I've found to click on the object and undo the mask--but something is better than nothing. With so many people using Windows 10, you would think that Adobe would make a fix for this problem. In the meantime, here is the link:

I cannot believe I'm paying you people money. This is making me livid. There's comments about this issue in April 2019. There's plenty of other design software available. Congrats you've lost me as a customer.

Why has this not been sorted, yet if users have been indicating their frustration and the inconvenience of the hamburger menu as opposed to the trusted old top menu. I have rarely wanted to chuck a computer out the window as much as I have whilst trying to learn XD for school on a windows desktop.

As a paid CC subscriber I wish for my app to behave on windows just like on any other platform, "following the UWP design paradigm" DOES NOT mean you strip your app down of it's functionality or usability. At least find an alternative way to show or provide the same functionality, not disable it at all... and since you're "following the UWP design paradigm" why don't we see such behavior in other Adobe CC products? You're losing your market and being stubborn to win some share from apple market place and that already have plenty of Xd alternatives.

Yeah let's follow UWP guidelines without thought because Windows has an obvious and long track record of getting UX updates right, such as with the ever popular Windows 8 (which was also targeted at improving tablet experience) /s

I switched from my Mac to Windows for my UX-UI Boot Camp, because I've been using Windows at work for over 20 years. This hamburger in XD for Windows user is extremely in convenient. Give us the menu bar!!!

I'm taking a prototype course and the instructor is on a MAC. It's unbearable not having that top menu on Windows. I've grown accustomed to the consistency of Adobe Products interface for over 12 years. This is not working at all. It's quite frustrating.

the hamburger menu doesnt have some of the options that are on mac if you are on windows, are engineers at adobe not smart enough to solve such a simple problem, mind you ther are more windows users than mac because windows computers dont expire like mac they help us afford your product.

as a tool pretending to help doing UX design, neglecting users and user pain points based on a system (UWP) is a sign of ignorance of what UX is.
we want the menu.

I think having a full menu in Mac and just a hamburger menu in PC is not fair. If there was an option to choose in between, that would be better I reckon.
