Full featured top menu for Windows 10
Get rid of the hamburger menu, and give windows users a full on top menu like in Photoshop or Illustrator. Hiding options behind an icon is a major pain. As a user of both Mac and Windows, I'd love for the program to be the same across both operating systems.
You can now access a fully featured top menu for Windows 10 in today’s release of XD! If you don’t see the update immediately, go to the Creative Cloud Desktop app, select the Update tab, the …, and “Check for updates.”

This issue is extremely frustrating and makes learning the programme very difficult as the tutorials show the menu bar. I picked to learn XD because I love Ai and Photoshop. I thought that it would be easier to jump into this software instead of learning a completely new programme like Figma. I might need to reconsider my decision as every tutorial for XD shows the menu bar.

The truth is that Adobe will soon be a cloud based program only which means all editing will be done on the cloud and not on your PC or MacBook. Cloud applications does not allow for the use of top menu bars.

After a very frustrating day mirroring all of your comments and after making the same conclusion with the same questions...I just signed onto Figma. It is free for starter level and of course options to upgrade to more editors etc. I am not changing OS just for this type of program.

If users on Windows are paying for the same license, why are we limited with less than half of the options that are found on Apple?

I can understand the design decision to make the whole UI leaner and stick to UWP standards - however as a power user working on a large screen with mouse and keyboard - we NEED the menu to be efficient! The UWP design is nice to use for touch enabled interfaces, but both need to be accessible (as you have done in your other apps).

Seriously so annoyed that there isn't a menu bar on XD for Windows. This makes for a horrible User Experience, for a program meant for making UX design. Hello!!! Fix this please!!!! Like yesterday!

Where's the "Undo" feature??? I only know the shortcut because I've seen and used it in Illustrator. The Hamburger doesn't even have an Undo option or a Preference setting! Trying to hard to be "cute" is quite frustrating.

I'm glad this is being implemented. For future reference, if you have such a massive disparity between OS versions, it'd be good to have separate tutorials/guides on how to navigate features. I shouldn't have had to perform a 15-minute Google search to figure out why my application didn't match the one in the starter tutorial.

Why are you making it more difficult for Windows users? Is our money different from what the apple users are paying you?
Seriously, what a pain. I'm trying to learn XD here and already I'm stumped coz I could not find a tapbar menu, or the EDIT button.
Can you UX/UI that first before selling it to UX/UI peeps? Thanks.

It would be very useful to have the top menu with options; File-Edit-Object etc ... also for windows users like on MAC. Windows users are not Series B users. There are too many shortcomings and differences on XD between Windows and MAC
