Pen and touch support in windows 10
Currently it's not possible at all to work with Experience Design using touch or pen input on Windows 10. Please improve that.
Hi everyone,
With this release, we have enabled basic pen and touch support for XD on Windows as a companion to the mouse and keyboard.
You can find more info about the feature here:
https://theblog.adobe.com/february-update-adobe-xd/
We look forward to receiving your feedback.
Thanks,
Dan Tuhoarca

Look forward to this feature, so I could finally start using XD for work!
I use Wacom tablet instead of mouse for all my life, and need pen support in the app. -

If you want to move to another location on the pasteboard you have to zoom out and then select an area with the zoom tool to change view area.(unless I am missing something) Another option to save time would be great. It would also be nice if this worked with touch screens(such as a 2-in-1 laptop) as well as mouse.
Using the mouse:
1) Click on the white space of the pasteboard(using a move board mode?) to move the pasteboard around and change the view.
--and--
2)Hot-key+left mouse in any mode(pointer, text, etc) to move the pasteboard around, release the hotkey and you are back to work in the mode you were using.Touch Screen Devices:
1) Tap on the white space of the pasteboard(using a move board mode?) to move the pasteboard around and change the view.
--and--
2) Two finger gesture to allow it to be used in any mode not just in "move board mode".Micro Adjustments:
1) Arrow keys could make adjustments to the view area of the pasteboard when no items are selected. Why it is important to me:
Minor adjustments to view that are accomplished with little work help design work go much faster. -
Which Wacom tablet are you using? What type of monitor connection are you using? We’d like to try to reproduce it here in the lab.
Thanks,

[Windows] Comp CC like feature in XD with pen and stylus support
Along with pen and touch support - I would love to see a Comp CC like feature in XD. It would be awesome for rapid wireframing and it takes full advantage of touch/stylus of windows devices. -

No touch on Surface Pro 4 ???? Really ? Xd is not a Mac app but an UWP app. Means to respect some guidelines. Pen and touch are simply basics on UWP ! Plus the fact that all your com are based on the respect of the plateform.
What I waiting for ? To draw with my pen my apps UI (adobe comp ++). It's simple and no one in the market do that (except you with Adobe Comb which work only on iOS...).
The only parts which not support touch is the canvas :) Menus are touch !

ISSUE: I'm trying to use Adobe XD 0.6.14.2 Beta with my Cintiq 13HD non-touch on WIndows 10 Anniversary Edition (latest) and its not working properly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open Adobe XD. (At this point the pen tracking works.)
2. Create an Art-Board. (I'm able to choose a preset with the pen, but cant drag out a preset)
3. Beyond this point only the Artboard cursor is available and no other tool works with the pen, even though i can select different tools, and change the option in the right panel with pen. With a mouse i'm able to use the app normally. All other Adobe apps work perfectly with the Cintiq pen tablet, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Muse.

Same issue here. Can't use Intuos Pro at all. And on Windows 10 version, Ctrl+/- doesn't work. Only pinching works. It would be nice if we could just get a magnifying glass and scrollbars, just like in all of the other Adobe design apps.

Everything else. When I select any other sidebar icon, it swith to blue (as being activated) but nothing will happen. Can't create shades or else. Also no zooming and moving via tap.Windows 10, XD Version 0.6.8.6

Hi Olavi,
We are still working on the pen and touch support, so this feature is currently disabled. We will enable it in a future release.
Best regards,

While this is a VERY nice feature to add, and I'm 100% on board for it... I'm going to stroke the harp of adding #Symbols and UI Kit functionality in here as well. :P

I'm having the same issue.
I can't use my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet with Adobe Xd (windows 10).
Navigating through the interface works, but can't use the tablet pen on the artboard. It seems the pen events are not recognized by the Xd workspace.
So I can switch to the tool I need, but can't use them on the artboard / workspace.

I am using Windows 10, and I can't use any drawing tools. I can't create any shapes and I can't add text.

Version of Adobe XD: 0686 windows
Steps to reproduce the issues: press spacebar and use stylus
Expected result: cursor turning to hand and and workspace panning
Actual result: cursor stays pointer and workspace does not move
XD file, video or GIF capturing the issue (optional): -
Can you confirm if this is happening on the Windows version?
If yes, the welcome screen and grid features are under development now and will be added in an upcoming release. What issue are you experiencing with the drawing tools? You can't create shapes at all or are there any issues with modifying them? Is this happening with all the drawing tools or just some of them?
Thanks,

I just installed XD, I can open it - no welcome screen. After opening a panel I can't add a grid, and the drawing tools don't work. I only can change the background color.
