Saw Talin Wadsworth talked about the recolor feature and it looks like an amazing feature to have.
Imagine instantly changing the color scheme of the UI just by choosing the colors from www.colors.adobe.com to show the client without manually changing the colors.

Hey there, I'd need that too, and, well, the guys from XD Hero sort of did that : https://xdhero.com/plugins/recolor
Which works great on a first draft unorganized design
if you try in on components, boolean, repeat grids and mask, you're out of luck since the XD API doesn't support it yet…
Hope it does soon.

I agree this would be an amazing feature to add (or someone please build a Plugin!)
Even though color swatches are added as Assets and you can change the value to make global changes, this isn't always the best solution.
In addition to the benefits mentioned above it's also useful for this scenario:
A client may want to see a new color for comparison. If you'd already did the ground work of creating components within components and want to show an option, it is a pain to click in and change everything manually. You may not want to change your linked color swatch.
