We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to publish a link. More details to come!
An error occurred while saving the comment Jade Macfarlane commentedThis is so FRUSTRATING and really putting our team off XD. We're starting to look at other services purely based on this issue. It's really bad for productivity, especially given the current climate where our whole design agency is working from home. This needs to be a priority update for Adobe XD. All of our work is becoming so messy as if someone is off, then we need to copy the file to make a new link to update it for our clients.

Even though color swatches are added as Assets and you can change the value to make global changes, this isn't always the best solution.
In addition to the benefits mentioned above it's also useful for this scenario:
A client may want to see a new color for comparison. If you'd already did the ground work of creating components within components and want to show an option, it is a pain to click in and change everything manually. You may not want to change your linked color swatch.Jade Macfarlane supported this idea · -

It's ridiculous that this hasn't been implemented after 2 years since the feature request. It's horrible trying to find cloud files, especially when you're in a rush in your workload. Even viewing in list view isn't any help because you can't drag the name column to be wider, so you cannot read the filenames properly.
