Infinite Canvas
One of the main reasons we use Sketch is because of the infinite canvas. For large web projects, there can easily be 60+ artboards at 1920px width, which would run into the edge of XD's canvas. Please make it infinite - it's also very annoying trying to zoom into an artboard at the edge of the canvas, since you can't center the artboard in the view properly.

As a lifetime Adobe user, I was thrilled with the recent updates to XD (like components and responsive resizing) that allowed me to be able to convert my Sketch files and come back to my first love, but I recently discovered this limitation about half way through a project, and I have to say this is a horrifying limitation, and about as frustrating of an experience as I have had in a career spanning more than 2 decades. I find myself about halfway through a huge application prototype, now wondering if I made a terrible mistake converting to XD. I have no idea if I will even be able to put all my screens, for one break point, in both themes, let alone getting into responsive... I really hope this is somewhere near the top of the priority list, and coming very soon.
As far as Francesco's comment below, I would love to see a screenshot of how someone would put 500 artboards at that size in way that maintains any logical flow for easily locating and editing things.

Adobe XD is a definite game changing app and is an absolute joy to use however the absence of ‘infinite canvas’ really is it’s akeles heel, especially when working on big projects. Sorry ADOBE :(

Keeping the Canvas limited, I think this is the secret of Adobe XD being very smooth on panning, zooming on the canvas compared to other tools. Sketch has the infinite canvas but is no way smooth as XD.

I disagree with this, I have never run up against having to worry about canvas size after working on many large, complex responsive web UI designs. Maybe being able to set a custom canvas size at the cost of performance would be nice in an edge case.

Im working on a huge website that consist of many pages, My current work area seems to be almost full.
Please work on this idea as Sketch has it, let the work area become unlimited. -

Please fix this issue Adobe. You're a giant in the design software industry yet can't provide a simple update to resolve this small issue. Sketch is your competitor and you guys are falling behind.

ASAP on this request please. I have run into this issue several times now as my speed and skills have grown with XD. I am sure other designers will need to expand the canvas as their skills improve as well.
Thank you.

I've been waiting for this for more than a year now. We use Sketch files with over 100 HD templates in them and no one will even try Xd, because it can't properly open Sketch files.
I've been watching Xd YouTube videos weekly for a year now and have seen vast improvements and want to badly make the switch, but the lack of an infinite canvas is the main thing holding me back right now.
PS - I have a picture to share, but don't know how.

Too small for large apps. Adobe has done nothing. Deal breaker.

First off, XD is an amazing tool for designers and allows us to work freely and rapidly; however, while working on design projects of wire-framing/prototyping, it is very easy for said project to include 100+ artboards. With the limited canvas that XD currently provides, it becomes difficult to work on important/larger projects.
Moreover, it would be great if XD allowed users to have either a larger canvas or multiple pages with equal canvas size that would still allow us to still prototype with the other page(s).

Ability to make work space to extend for free size, where required as per the number of art boards to create. Currently there is a limited workspace to create number of art boards.
For example: I have 300+ artboard screens that i need to create in a single file, which is in flow of entire application with particular artboard size. But here, am unable to create more than 200+ art boards or screens that i need to.
I think it helps a lot for the UI UX Folks to expand their ideas and create wonders that what they wanted to.

Would be nice if XD would have pages like in Sketch.

Maybe double the size as a start?!

The current canvas size is definitely much too small. I can't start using Xd until this is increased, or like someone else has suggested, allowing multiple pages could also work.

Why to limit XD visualization operation?(Be sure to like Adobe Illustrator?)In the file, web page design more unified component, very inconvenient
为什么要给XD限制可视化操作范围?(一定要像Adobe Illustrator一样?)在文件多、网页设计图统一组件的情况下,很不方便

Hi,
artboards could be great for separe your design by features or devices.
But I agree with Linford Lof, I have the same problem a lot of screens for a rwd plateforme and I will be quickly restreint by the workspace.
