Choose which artboards to share (share link to prototype/design spec subset / exclude some artboards when sharing)
Because we are often working with multiple dev teams on a single project it would be great to be able to select a specific path of actions and share them as a link. Example: share just the contact flow or the shopping cart flow.
The benefit of being able to see all screens and link to them is great. Being able to see and share a subset as well would be awesome. We could focus on just sharing that specific interaction and the team it is being sent to wouldn't have to go through everything just to see the UX of a single section.
Hi All,
WIth August release of Adobe XD, we have now added the ability to define ‘Multiple Flows’ on your canvas, switch between them in Share mode, and also choose to publish or share out links from your flows!
You can also choose to share out just a single artboard on your canvas, by setting it as ‘Home’ artboard and not having any connection wires to/from it.
Check out this video and blog post to learn more!

I highly encourage you to install the latest version of Adobe XD, and give this feature a try!
We would love to hear your feedback and improve upon it.

For us as an agency (a major one), the use of Adobe XD is seriously at stake if the workflow is made complicated by not having the possibility to share selected artboards! If we need to create different files only to be able to share selected deigns with the client, the principle of the single source of truth (which is one of the main advantages) is not valid anymore.

Please ! I don’t want to be forced to link the artboards to share them !
In some step of the work it's non-sense !
I don't understand why Adobe changed this from the oldest versions of Xd !!! -

In the Januar release there is an option to share/publish ONE artboard if there is just ONE artboard in the document. Hope this is the beginning of the possibility to select specific artboards. This is very important for the design state where I designing different design variations. I need to keep all variations to come back if the stakeholders don't like the first design step. For that I need to select specific artboards with design variation 1 to share it with the stakeholders. Selecting the artboards with mouse pointer on the canvas is much faster than wire/link them in the prototype mode (the prototype function will be implemented afterwards, after the stakeholder select the design!)

I like to be able to select, which artboards will be included in the prototype without having to wire them. That way developers can navigate easy between the screens without me having to build an extra navigation for linking them.

hello
I finished my design with XD and want to share it with the developer, however, in the share mode, the system did not show the full artboards I have. In addition, the link did not show the spec
Could you give me any help?
Thank you -

Please fix the fact that I cannot deselect the home artboard, reverting my file back to sharing all my artboards, instead of that 1 artboard.

Genuinely the most moronic loss of a feature that used to work perfectly well that i've seen from Adobe. And there's been a fair few!!
Bring this back please. Speechless as to how this could have happened!!??

Why I can't share more than one artboard? Do something about it please. This is ridicolous, present solution is absolutely nonsense and useless.

I have design approx. 20 screens and I want to share them for Design Review but I have tried prototype on some screens now Design Review is not allowing me or not to show screens which don't have prototype added, also when I delete all my prototype then also it is not allowing me to send all my designs for review.

We work in agile and very often I need to share just some of the screens with dev while the rest of the team is still working on rest of the screens. What I have to do now is to un-wire all other screens, share with dev and wire all again to share for review/discussion or duplicate artboards or have additional file versions..(any of this is causing trouble in some way). I need to be able to select specific screens to include, or at least have the option to exclude some of the wired screens for every different share link.
Really, really hope there will be some update on this feature soon.

This feature would let me ditch Zeplin and I could work in Adobe XD fully. Please, please, pretty please...
I'd need to create links to the specific artboard. Actually it would be nice if the link would already be created for each artboard and I could just copy the link of the artboard to share with the dev team.
We use the prototype to get the feeling of how the site should work, but each artboard has it's task attached which explains in details all the functionalities on the view. -

Is there an update on this? I have no wires connected to any artboard, Is there a feature where I can just deselect the home artboard on prototype mode so I can share all my artboards?

I need it asap too!!!!!!

Yeah it is ridiculous, no interaction no sharing...

Yes please make this feature! There used to be a way for me to publish my design system out to my developer and show all of the artboards by simply not prototyping any screens together. Please bring that back or make it so we can choose which screens to share, especially a Share All Screens button.

When you are wanting to get the ball rolling with a website build, it is not very practical when you can't share the assets, colours etc without having to duplicate your artboards and make interactions.
It shouldn't have to be a requirement to either prototype every single artboard, or to not touch the feature at all, in order to successfully get ALL artboards in the XD document to populate in the developer link/mode.
I've spent hours within the current year dealing with this flaw. You want to use the prototyping features to make client presentation a breeze, only to discover that most of your artboards/designs aren't available to you developer when you've created a link for them to pull assets and information from, or, you're unable to create the developer link what so ever.

Agreed, now it's getting even more ridiculous, no interaction no sharing? Why is that? A single page design can never be shared, even for developing?

agree, feature is needed asap

Currently you have to link screens in a prototype to be able to publicly share screens. It would be nice if there was an option to share specific screens or include all. Not everything we do requires a prototype, but would still like the ability to gather feedback or provide redlines for developers. Basically I want to move away from Sketch and InVision workflow and move completely to XD :)
