I would never use another prototyping tool if this was available. Seriously. Add this and I'll switch from hesitant fangirl to diehard evangelist.

Please add this feature. Me and my friend our creating an application for our community and it would incredibly useful for our prototyping if we have this feature.

This feature would be incredibly useful. Most of the projects I work on have different flows based on user input, so without this I'm unable to connect the screens in prototype mode and therefore can't accurately present my designs.

I love Adobe XD because of how fast and efficient it is as a design tool BUT when it comes to prototyping it's not giving my team what we need. Our developers don't have the capacity to build prototypes to test with (which would be ideal). Having interactive form elements (especially the input field) is crucial for our process. I'm losing a battle to keep XD as the primary design tool on my team. If you all could make this a priority, you'd be well on your way to being the superior design/prototyping tool out there.

Please build this feature soon! Text input is the majority of the tasks for my user testing and not being able to let the users type in text takes away the gist of the given tasks

came to this thread as i was trying to build the ability for a user to input text into the prototype. this feature is key to getting client approvals as not technical decision makers can directly interact with the prototype to understand the simulated functionality.

Adding checkboxes, radio buttons, drop downs, buttons and form validation would also be great!

Yes. Adding this seems like common sense since forms are used for just about every app and adding hacks just isn't the same when it comes to re-creating the feeling of true Usability Testing.
