Collaboration on same document (real-time OR check-in / check-out model)
I would love to be able to work with my design team at the same time on the same file on different computers and instantly see changes made by someone else in realtime.
Currently, we use Google Drawings to create wireframes because it allows us all to work in the same file at the same time and to instantly see changes made.

I’m pleased to announce that we’ve introduced Coediting in its early form in XD 24. You can get more info on this beta feature on letsxd.com. If you have feedback for us, please do file them as separate tickets here on UserVoice!

Would be good to have more than 1 user using the software. Collaborative.

Would love to see this feature in an upcoming feature, especially for many of us working in teams of UX designers.

Any updates on this?

Having multiple people able to work on the same shared xd file at once (similar to live editing with multiple people on google docs). This way, collaborators wouldn't have to work on separate documents and merge changes into a "master document" so to speak.

Is this feature currently available for the beta version?

This would be a fantastic addition, any ETA on implementation? The MAX video mentions "early 2017".

Hi, does anyone know if this feature only works if your file is synced to creative cloud like what was mentioned in the adobe max video above (27:55)? or is this feature being worked on for just having multiple people open the same file not synced to CC on different computers?

Yes, this is very important as part of the design process!

I feel a bit tricked from all the information I saw at Abobe Max. I was so excited to start using XD, I moved all our web designs over but things keep coming up that make me regret my quick move.
When will this feature be available?

Multiple users should be able to work on one file without creating conflicting files. Ideally users could work on different artboards without conflict a la Powerpoint.
Users should also be able to see who is currently editing the same file.

This would be incredible, XD reminds me of Minecraft where each designer could have their own workspace and other designers could build on what others have in their workspace.

Ok so this is kind of a crazy idea, but now that we have the ability to basically design an entire *anything* in one file, but with multiple artboards...it would be awesome to have some way for multiple people to be working off the same file.
My workflow has generally been to design everything in one file...this removes a lot of inconsistencies between pulling back and forth. Generally, I've been the only one on a project at a time, though. Now that my company is growing and rapidly expanding a design team, it's becoming increasingly difficult to organize/break out files into logical structures.
I wonder if there's any way to take some cues from pair-programming into our design applications. Maybe it's just git-ifying (a la Pro Tools 12)...maybe it's not...I'm not sure. Just wanted to pass along the idea!

Yes!!! XD has changed my UI/UX team workflow and we're finding the inability to collaborate on design files to be a hinderance. Would be so great to be able to collaborate live.

Mayble via a check-in/check-out process like Axure where a team of designers can collaborate on a single file or work on separate files and easily consolidate them into one design
