Repeat Grid overrides / inheritance (some styles differ in an item, rest still sync with other list items)
It will be great if repeat grid work in way like this:
I want to show how recommended item will look like. I'm double-clicked wished element title and turn off "Fill" checkbox in "Inherit" panel. Now I can change color only for this title, but if I will change font-size, for example, all titles will change it, because "font-size" checkbox is active. If I click "Fill" again, my title will be back to gray.
All checkbox is active by default — so behavior will be just like now and it will take full control and understanding what and when happens.

For the simpler ability to just make an item *totally* exempt from syncing edits / style changes with other the grid items, see https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13075821-exceptions-in-repeat-grid

Note: for the more advanced ability to define multiple different "templates" that *more than one* item in the grid can share -- with edits to one of those items are synced to all the other items of the same "type"/"class" -- please see https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13035219-conditional-repeat-grid-contents

Currently, if you change an element's position, color, font weight, etc in ANY of the repeatable elements it changes globally. While this is nice, it would be great to see more logic around this feature. For example, develop logic to handle parent child relationships. If you change the parent everything changes in the repeatable grid. If you have a child, it's only specific to that child. If you decide to repeat more elements after modifying a child, no worries, just repeat the parent and things are golden. I hope this makes sense.

Sure, exceptions will be essential. Please add options to override default behaviour, like object styles or text styles in InDesign where is possible to set properties on a single element without affecting others of the same style.

I noticed that it is impossible to detach one element from the repeat grid. Let's say I need to highlight a top article in my design. Though to make every item well spaced I use the repeat grid. But this on item, will never be able to have conditional characteristics.
Could it work like a CSS ? Global rule is for spacing and global layout (box sizes for ex). Then we could say, this particular box needs to be opacity = 0.5 and the font (Roboto) needs to be bold in this case.
It could probably be fixed if there are styles applied, it will depend on how this panel will be implemented. If ever there are other ways to space elements equally and dynamically, without having to ungroup the repeat grid, I'd be happy to know them.
Thank you !
