Title name for character styles
There must be an option to call what kind of text style I have created.
Currently, it just shows what the font type, size etc., but user should be able to create his own style name or predefined user interface styles.Like in Adobe InDesign for paragraph styles.
That way I can easily identify what kind of generated style I want to use to the text component I have created.
11 votesAs we haven’t heard back from anyone in five months, I’m closing this feature as completed.

Eye dropper fill tool
Why did you move the eye dropper tool inside the fill dialogue box? It now takes two clicks to access it instead of the original one click. With a tool that is used so frequently this is not a good thing.
2 votesWe now have a color picker in both the color picker and in the property inspector.

Edit Symbols
I'd love the ability to edit an existing symbol and have it populate to all instances (ie. Navigations, Headers, Footers, etc.)
This would make editing content and global changes SO much easier.
1 voteSince we launched XD, you’ve been able to edit the symbol by double-clicking into it. Style changes will apply to all instances, and text and bitmap overrides can be propagated to all instances by selecting “Update All Symbols.”
Here’s an article that might help: https://medium.com/@Jonthanjosh/working-with-symbols-in-adobe-xd-6363a999a1d

Illustrator support for CC libraries
Seems like we're missing CC Library support for Illustrator assets. I'm sure you're on it but didn't find another comment on it. I can imagine you were under the gun to show off more library integration for MAX but vector symbols are really where it's going to be at for our team's needs. (That and JPG exporting, but that's been covered).
19 votesApologies for the late announcement on this one, but we now have vector support in XD for CC Libraries. https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/cc-libraries-xd.html

24 votesWe’re pleased to announce that the iPhone X artboard is now available in the November release of Adobe XD. If you don’t see the update in the Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the application and select “Check for App Updates.” If you’re looking for improvements on this feature, please do file a new request!

Rename symbol instance in the layers panel
When you make a symbol like a button, you draw first a rectangle with attributes like color, size, etc...
then you put a label in order to give him a function like "Validate", etc
So when you put this button inside your artboards the problem becomes that if you want to change the caption of the button you'll have to dissociate the symbol to change the caption.
So the problem is How can I use atomic approach in order to design my system and then if I change the color of the button, the size of it or the caption…
4 votesYou can now rename your symbol instances in the layers panel, and separate renaming of symbols in the assets panel.

Paste Appearance command
Paste Appearance command should also work on folders. Lets say I have some multilayered flat logo 'A' in 'Folder A' and I want to past the attributes on all layers inside. It will be great. Currently I have to select all layers seperately.
1 voteWe were missing the ability to apply styles to groups before. Now that we can, you can paste appearance, and it will be applied to groups!

Copy one element and paste it in multiple views
I'd like to be able to copy one element (i.e: a top navigation bar) to multiple views by copying the element, selecting all relevant views, and pressing cmd + V.
1 voteYou can now paste to multiple artboards! Simply copy your object from one artboard, multi-select artboards, and then press Cmd+V – your object will then copy across all selected artboards!

Select and change the shape of the same color to another color together, instead of select shapes one by one again.
When I decided to change the whole prototype design from one color palette to another. I cannot change the same color of all the shapes together. I need to select same color shapes on each page one by one. This is so slow.
2 votesYou can already do this by using the assets panel. Simply add the color to the assets panel, then edit the color in the assets panel to apply to all shapes using the same color.

Eyedropper tool for the assets panel
When creating colors in the Asset panel, it would be nice to use the color picker tool and not have to have the Hex value handy. Not all mock-ups are color sensitive so this would make a nice quality of life addition.
18 votesWe’re pleased to announce that the assets panel eyedropper is now available in the November release of Adobe XD. If you don’t see the update in the Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the application and select “Check for App Updates.” If you’re looking for improvements on this feature, please do file a new request!

Colorsearch and replace
In Word or Visual Studio you have the ability to search and replace certain signs or words. Well i'm in a project right now having a lot of different canvases all with some rectangles colored in the same way. If i want to change the color of all of them equally i wish i had a function providing me with that ability.... maybe there is a way to this date.. but i don't know it.

Import Artboards from Illustrator
I would really love in XD to have an option to import artboards from Illustrator. Working in UX with teams who create mockups in Illustrator, it would be a nice option to see a workflow where I can import my artboards so I can then prototype within XD.
Currently, I copy and paste in from Illustrator, which works, but it doesn't retain data sometimes such as drop shadows, which is an issue for some within the team.
22 votesIn the most recent update (Oct 15, 2018), you can now open your Illustrator files in Adobe XD, while retaining artboards, layers, and editability.

Highlight objects that use a selected color in the assets panel
I want to select all the objects that use a particular asset like a color or font. If my design has gone crazy and I have assets that are close, like 23px and 24px titles that I want to merge it would make that easier. With colors, I may not want to edit the Asset, I may want to change all the corporate red to the corporate blue. It would help with finding fonts in a file too, like in Illustrator.

Recenter and zoom to an artboard from the artboard list
I want XD to recenter and zoom to an artboard that I select from the artboard list.
Why is this valuable to you?
I currently spend a lot of energy manually zooming and panning between artboards. What if we simplify and streamline all this activity to just a couple of clicks?2 votesThanks for the followup! Closing, as the feature already exists.

You can already mask images using mask with shape. Here’s more information on this feature: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-design/help/combine-objects.html
Hope that helps!

Allow to name elements with unique ids
A very important feature missing from AdobeXD is the option to name elements.
The biggest strenght of AdobeXD is in the SVG output. I can design a website and use the svg assets directly in my project as UI elements. The only problem is that it lacks an option to name elements and symbols and to preserve those names as xml attributes in the exported svg file. Selecting those manually every time is a waste of time. Using names would allow to update assets in projects automatically when you edit those in AdobeXD.
Please add the option to name elements…7 votesThis one fell through the cracks! We’ve been able to name elements in the layers panel for quite a bit of time now, and these names are reflected in the export.

Display wireframe dimensions and colors for developer handoff
It would be extremely valuable to have a dimension view or developer view where the size and color code for each element is visible. All text or other distractions would be hidden and the user would have the option to reorganize the auto populated layout of dimensions. This feature would definitely put Adobe XD way ahead of any competitor.
There are more variables to consider, but this is an great idea to build off of.
Cheers!
4 votesCheck out the new Design Specs feature, which released in Beta this week. Your devs will be able to grab dimensions and colors from the link it generates.

"Guideline Mode" (Design Guidelines)
Add a "Guideline Mode" in addition to the prototype mode and design mode. This would be a content area of speficications like color schemes, used fonts, symbols and other visuals etc. It would be good to have a basic content template for the most typical things like color palette etc. but make it also possible to add custom content.
This functionality would help to work on the design in teams and to communicate the design fundamentals to customer and developers.
6 votesIn August, we released the Assets panel, which supports all of the workflows you’ve asked for in this ticket. For more information, check out the blog post: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/august-update-of-adobe-xd/
Thanks!

Individual styling of word in a paragraph for Windows
I think this already existed in macOS version. The idea is you can style (color, fontsize, etc.) a certain word or character in a line for sentence (one text group). This is, for me, one of the most useful features in design.
28 votesSomeone mentioned this in a comment, but yes, we did deliver this feature in our June release of XD! Check it out!
