Keyboard shortcuts for switching between modes should work on international keyboards
The new shortcut on mac to toggle between design, prototype and share mode means you can't type a hashtag or euro character. Use a different shortcut tool.
Sorry about this! We released 32.2 last Thursday to address the issue. If this happens again, please do report this to the community support forums to flag to the team, as it’s actively monitored.

Came here looking for this. Seems like a bit of an oversight. In the meantime, copy and paste: ¡ € # ¢ ∞ §
Perhaps a good solution would be to disable mode toggling when user is in active type area. Not likely users want to switch modes whilst they are typing things in.

Remove shortcuts for 'Design' 'Prototype' and 'Share' - This means I can no longer type '#' (on a Mac) which is obviously quite a regularly used symbol in web design. The shortcuts also save no time so I don't understand why this was implemented. At the very least disable the shortcuts when inside a textbox, allowing us to use the '#' symbol.

I dont know if there are more, but this is an essential Spanish character that is no longer working in Xd. We need this back.

Option + 1, 2, 3, 4 ... shortcuts are registered for special characters on Mac international keyboards. You should disable this mode switching feature while typing. Now I need to copy-paste € sign all the time.

When pressing the new shortcut for prototype mode, which is helpful, it is rather annoying when trying to type the € ( or @ sign for other keyboards ) as it makes it impossible and takes your out of your flow

I use a German keyboard and design financial software - for which I have to type plenty of #'s in wireframes to signify financial sums and this view feature is a serious pain adobe !!!! - I can no longer enter them - I have to copy and paste them in from notes!

It's fine as long as you're not currently typing in an active text area.

My keyboard is in Mexican spanish because of this I need to type option(alt)+2 to get "@" or option(alt)+3 to get #, But now when i do so the app switches between design, prototype and share mode and not only it's annoying but it also affects how keyboards function with preset key combinations ti enter symbols/special characters.

Now that you've introduced the Option + 1, 2 and 3 keyboard shortcuts for switching between Design, Prototype and Share Swedish users can no longer type the characters ©, @ and @ as we use the same keyboard shortcuts for those characters. And we're probably not alone. All of Scandinavia uses similar keyboard layouts and big parts of Europe in general.
Please disable those keyboard shortcuts when users are typing in an active text area!
