Keyboard shortcut for assets search
As a user, I want to be able to use CONTROL/COMMAND + F to search the assets so that I can quickly find what I am looking for.

Balsamiq has a successful implementation of this. By pressing the “+” key on the keyboard you set focus in the search field (it’s called “Quick Add”) and can start type the name of the asset you are looking for. The best hit is automatically selected in the top of the result list. Consequently, the user just needs to press Enter to select and thereby insert the asset. Preferably in the center of the screen.
This all leads to a very efficient workflow with a minimum of keystrokes and need of moving hands between the mouse/trackpad and the keyboard.
