Save Files Locally
After upgrading to 29.1.32, I am not able to create a new local file, or "Save as" locally. I can only save to cloud or create new documents on the cloud.
This is not a good user experience!
Please help! :(
Please help.
You can actually save local documents by using File > Save As Local Document (Shift+Opt+Cmd+S). It should pop up a local file save option for you. Hope that helps!

At least it should be a setting, like in Illustrator, where you can set your default save location as local, cloud, or even select another location like a non-Adobe cloud. I work in the pharma industry and because of HIPPA and privacy contracts, it can be illegal for us to save to a not approved cloud. Having cloud saving be the default opens my company up to lawsuits.

@Elaine: it might help, but it still remains bad user experience. Standard should be the "Save as ..." behaviour like in any other app, like Indesign, Illustrator etc. – I'm working with Adobe products since 25 years now. It's quite annoying to have to think where I'm about to save everytime I want to generate a new file version!

Agreed with previous comments - for users who are accustomed to, or prefer to save locally this is really poor user experience.
I understand Adobe's desire/preference for users to use cloud storage but for existing customers this is very cumbersome to save and open local files using this odd keystroke combination.
Allowing a user to set the default saving location to be set by user in Preferences would be nice.

Yeah totally stupid to force you into cloud mode and then make it so difficult to save locally with weird keystrokes and menu opens. CMD+S should save locally and so should "Save as..."

cmd + shift + s < This should save locally, remove default save to cloud or be able to choose default. Why would you change the default key command that all other adobe products use. If you want to make cloud an option, don't make it the default command users are already using.

This is totally stupid, I cannot make quick saves anymore though my document is saved locally now i always have to open this stupid dialog for overwriting an existing file. When the document is hosted local it should be saved local as default.
