Copy and Paste at the same place as selected element.
It would be great if we could copy an element, select an object on a new artboard, press cmd+shift+v and the copied element gets pasted at the same place as the element selected on a new or the same artboard.

One hack that works is to create a shape/rectangle that takes up the whole artboard with the item you want to copy. Copy both and paste them into the new artboard. Then delete the shape/rectangle. You should find your item is in the place you want.
Although cmd+shift+ v would be nice to have too!

As a designer, I want to copy an object and paste it on top of a selected symbol / component / text object's coordinates.
For example I have a logo on a web page set at x:20px and y:20px. I would select the logo and right-clic, use dropdown menu, or the keyboard shortcut and choose "Paste over selection". The graphic I had on my clipboard would be pasted at x:20px and y:20px. Sketch does it and it's like RedBull-fast and effective.

When pasting elements from one spot to the other, I would love to select an item on the artboard, hold shift when pasting, so the item will be pasted but in the exact same X/Y position as the item I selected.
This would help me replace elements faster for example.

Hello, first sorry for my bad English. And I will get to the point. When I copy & paste some objects (or components) always placed above the layer list even when I have chosen where it should be placed. Usually, in my behavior, when I want to place an object on top of another object I will select the object on the layer that I want to place on it. And then I make or paste an object, it will be a place right above the object I selected before. Hopefully this will come as a feature in the next release. Or is this feature already available?
