Allow Component States in repeat grid
Let's say we want to add a Radio Group and use our Design System Radio Button Component for that. Currently it's not possible to set one of the components to the selected state.
As a workaround we can create the list with the repeat grid, then ungroup it and change the desired item. But that can't be how it's intended to work.
ps: I feel bad for lodging a Feature Request days after you released such a great feature. It sounds lI'm ike complaining instead of being thankful - thats not the case, the component states are awesome,d thank you all for this!

It would be nice to have the option to alternate states for components in a repeat grid. Tables are my main pain point for this. I'd prefer to say "every n:th row or column, use x state" so I can simply change background colors or some other thing.

Absolutly missing feature. I am currently working on a Schedul planner for students and teachers. I can not assign different states to the components in the repeating grid :( Do I really have to do it manually ??????

In the repeat grid feature allow each repeat instance to show different states of the repeated components.

+1 for this feature being very needed from the XD team. I've tried to accomplish this a few times with repeat grids expecting it should work and then being surprised when doesn't yet! Seems an obvious candidate to make repeat grids and states even more powerful.

+1. Make the repeat grid and component state functionality enhance each other instead of work against each other! :)

This would be very useful feature that is missing in repeat grid.
Use of different states of component in each row. -

Yeah... This would be VERY helpful.

If you repeat a component which contains another component, then you can change the state of the inside component (instance) which would just affect this one instance, not all repeated instances.
But this seems like a side effect of actually modifying the instance of the outer component.
It would be useful, if you could do it without nesting components. It should behave the same as changing texts in a repeater.

Another typical use-case is checkboxes within a tabular repeat grid - imagine a "batch select" control on a tabular row. At any rate, you'll likely want to mock up a table with a variety of rows where that control is "checked" vs other rows where it is "unchecked". This should be a no-brainer with a component that has an "ON" and a DEFAULT (off) state.

+1, I would love to be able to pick different states for items in the grid!

I have to agree with Tim, this is a great feature but it's painful that it doesn't work "correctly".

This is also relevant for hover that have to be different in a repeat grid
