Rearrange Component States in Property Inspector
I'd love to be able to rearrange the component state order in the property inspector (the panel on the right in Design mode & Prototype mode). I would also love to be able to resize the section for component states. Currently it maxes out at 4 before you need to scroll.
Dear Adobe XD Community -
I'm glad to announce that in XD 49 we have introduced the capability to reorder components states in main components through the property inspector. To reorder you states, select your main component and drag the states in the PI to reorder them and the new order will reflect across all your component instances.
Hope you enjoy that feature. To learn more about how to use Component states in XD, please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/create-component-states.html
Thanks,
Sherif

It has just kicked in and Oh My Days it is glorious! thanks @Adobe

Oh, this is not working for me... I wonder if I am misunderstanding the feature description but I was extremely excited thinking I could now re-order my component states in the side menu...
For example; I hoped I could drag 'white' above 'blue2'?

Totally agreed! Reordering states is currently VERY time consuming and frustrating, while being necessary almost every time I create a component with states. Recreating states just to change the order also breaks instances of the component throughout all my team's documents where it's used due to removing the states to reorder them. Simply reordering states like you can reorder layers would solve these issues.

Never do I ever build things in the right order. I always think of something after the fact. Now I have things all out of order and it's very difficult to find. I NEED them in the order they would be displayed. Please let us reorganize this list! Also, I need to be able to make it taller. Can it just work like the other Adobe products pallets where you can collapse and open and resize?

Also for me too, moreover please think about something to solve 20k levels, also a tool to permit us to separe components without make all by hand. TankYou

Not many votes here, but ability to rearrange component states would be a huge productivity enhancement, as well as the ability to make the scroll window larger.

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!! what a ridiculously simple omission. XD is LITERALLY a UX tool yet it suffers from basic UX failings. You couldn't make it up.

Please Adobe, make it happen 🙏

It's ridiculous that we still haven't have this feature yet.
Like Adobe conceived a STATIC list of "Component States" that it wouldn't ever needed to be edited out or reordered.
Like this is plain common sense UX for creating a list. It's so clear that despite answering the demand for user experience design and the pain of pioneer UX designers back then using Photoshop to UI design, it's still clear they still have adapted the same Photoshop UI mindset with this app as well.
Clunky, some obvious things doesn't make any sense and it takes years to address usability issues, sometimes abandoned at all.
