Paste above selected layer (another artboard)
If I copy a specific layer to another artboard, it should be placed above the chosen layer of the artboard, not on the top off all layers.

Items being pasted on top of the layer stack instead of above the currently selected layer is, for me, the single most annoying "feature" which keeps me from switching to AdobeXD. Please Adobe, I appreciate the speed at which new features are added at the moment, also regarding the big May 19 Update, but do not forget the little usability issues that could easily be fixed and make such a big difference for people like us working with your Tools on a daily basis.

This feature please. As the selection in Xd is great I don't care about the layer order anymore so this feature will make things much easier to organize the z-index, I can work just like Illustrator by cmd+f, cmd+b.

I think the main point is when there are a lot ungrouped objects. if you need to just put an specific object in front of another, it would be faster to just Ctrl + X and Ctrl + F, just like in Illustrator

It is often useful to paste the element on the right place on the Z-axis. Illustrator allows it when you paste an element and you have another object selected. Then, when you paste with Ctrl+F, the pasted element appears just above the selected object; when you paste with Ctrl+B, it goes below the selected object.

I would love to have objects paste in front of the selected object (like in Illustrator). At this moment, in XD, when I paste an object, it gets on the top of the pile. It's laborious, when you have tens or hundreds of ungrouped objects, to find the right place into which to drag down the newly created object (while scrolling and selecting on the artboard in the same time the reference object in order to find out it's the name).
It would be much easier if we could select the object we want to copy, press Cmd+C, select the reference object in front of we want to paste the new object and press Cmd+V. If we do not select any object, the newly pasted object will be placed on the top of all other objects (like it behaves now).
