When you launch XD it shows the templates and recent files, but as it's in grid view, I can't see the full file name - which is an issue as the version number is at the end of the file name is always cut off.

I'd like a list view so I can see the full file name from the launch screen, not a thumbnail

As a user experience software, it is important to have for example such a small but super useful feature like that allows you to change the view of "Recent" projects displayed on the home screen from thumbnail to list view. For me, all my projects start with the same launch screen, so this "recent" layout it's almost unusable, especially since there is only a very limited amount of character displayed from the project names under the thumnails (I must always wait for the tooltip hovering over them so I could decide which one to open). Intersting that in the web view (manage links) this option is available since years!

I have many files with similar screens, and long file names - I can't tell what is what with the tile view and truncated text at the moment.

I think there should be a list view on the open dialog window because I use long project names, and when they are truncated, I can't tell which is which.

It would be great also if there would be a checkbox "hide this screen" as in PS. Or at least, the option to hide the tutorial portion and/or the templates

It would be nice if the "open recent" dialogue would also have a list view, as names get cut off otherwise, which is very problematic if the files have version number in their name and are otherwise identical, because the you start the guessing game ...

Thanks for the tip. FYI: the tooltip only works if you hover over the truncated name, not the thumbnail ;)

Most file names are too long to be read in thumbnail view, I would prefer to see them in a list. I would be useful to have the option to switch just like in PS' opening screen.
