Disable swiping on mobile prototype
Please provide an option to disable swiping between artboards during the Live Preview on the Adobe XD iOS app. I want testers on the mobile app to only be able to navigate using the interactions I've authored. Them being able to swipe at any time prevents me from getting a valid test out of them.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. With 17.0, you can now disable swiping on mobile prototypes in the overlay menu!

1. Tripple tap on your mobile prototype to open the Overlay Menu
2. Deselect "Swipe to Navigate"
Done.

It says "completed", but I'm still not able to cancel the swiping.. also, I can't find anything on the web that shows or explains how..
The respond from the admin is:
"Thanks for sharing your feedback. With 17.0, you can now disable swiping on mobile prototypes in the overlay menu!"
What is the "overlay menu", and how can I use it?

This is very critical, I can't believe this doesn't exist.

Please add a feature where swiping becomes an option as transition is or timing is, etc. It should be in a default state of "off" until the designer wants it.

This seems like such a simple addition to make, yet it's so necessary in order to make proper prototypes for our clients! I would also love to see an option down the road to be able to swipe to specific artboards (instead of just tapping) Hopefully this comes soon!

Please fix this ASAP!
This is fundamental when previewing prototypes as users get confused when they accidentally swipe. How are we meant to use XD as a professional app when you show a client and you keep touch the phone to correct their "mistake". Come'on Adobe. Stop making features we don't care about, make ones that matter. -

I am preparing to test our employee-facing application prototype on a tablet in our stores. Although the ability to swipe between art boards is valuable to my design and dev teams and to the stakeholders, I need the ability to disable swiping between art boards in the prototype for testing.

Not sure wether this should be classified as a Bug or Request, but please provide an option to disable the ability to swipe between art boards on the mobile preview apps.
It becomes particularly frustrating when using the Drag Trigger with Auto
Animate to accurately simulate an interaction without " accidentally " transitioning to the next art board. Quite Embarrassing. -

this is most cricital features i've ever encountered. i don't see any reason behind this

I dont see how XD is a good solution if you can swipe through art boards that wasn't intended to be viewed. This is a major screw up for usability testing. Adobe almost created the perfect replacement for invision, uxpin and others.

Can be a real bummer when user testing (esp. unmoderated). Surprised there are no more votes on this

Just to reiterate how bad this is: not once of the 50 user testings we had ppl managed to go through without swiping where they shouldn't. Moving horizontally between artboards is not important on a mobile device, and it messing up animations and interactions every time, users get lost in the app because of this and because they don't know it's not supposed to work like that in the final app they think it's a feature and they keep swiping and all messed up. Not once we managed to get through a demo. Please if you can't add a setting then just disable this. Especially on smaller phones it is just unusable.

I am not a programmer, but I do respect what they accomplish and I greatly admire those who put this program together, but this seems like a very easy step to work out and it is so important. I imagine the majority of apps created will become useless unless this feature is implemented. Who has ever opened an app that allows you to swipe between every artboard without buttons? This is madness

this is a troubling oversight, but especially problematic when using dragging as a trigger.
