Objects can link to multiple artboards (not just one) in prototyping mode
If you go to Google Maps:
Please click the hamburger menu in the upper left. It creates a sliding menu that slides right. At the same time, a blur effect is added to the rest of the page.
I can't do that in Adobe XD where I can have two different types of transitions occurring at once. (Atleast I haven't figured that out yet)
If I create a sliding menu, I can use an overlay but the background is not blurred. Or I can create an entirely NEW artboard with the menu on it and the background blurred, and make the whole artboard slide. The problem is, this doesn't look that good.
So I'm thinking this can be solved 2 ways:
1) If we do can overlay, allow us to effect the background area so we can blur the background
2) OR, in prototyping mode, I can link my hamburger menu icon to one artboard that has the slider (and make it slide right), then ALSO link it to a SECOND artboard with a simple transparent black rectangle the size of the rest of the screen, and make THAT dissolve.
So basically we can do multiple effects at once. This would be great if this can be added in the next update. Thanks!

Hi Shawn, I think you can do that with the auto-animate feature now in adobe XD.
https://helpx.adobe.com/in/xd/help/create-prototypes-using-auto-animate.htmlYou can hide the hamburger menu on the previous page and move that to the desired position and also put an overlay and use animate and boom, done!
