Set object to default to no stroke
Every single time I make a box or something it adds a border stroke by default. This is so annoying as I don't want a border stroke like 90% of the times. Is this a bug or something? I'm so tired of removing that border stroke!! Please Adobe, make this nightmare go away. If you insist on forcing this upon us as default then at least make a "remember this choice" checkbox or something.

Please please create primitives borderless, so many extra button clicks just because of this one thing.

Set the feature to be borderless by default as in 99% you don't need the border. Leave an option to toggle border by default for the 1% of cases when it is needed.
Everyone is happy, you are welcome.

When I ask people around me, 100% of them don't need this feather because when we draw a box, we need to disable the border. It wastes so much time.
I would like to request that your team consider changing the flow of this function. -

99% of the time I draw a rectangle I don't want it to have a border stroke/outline. Really annoying that it is on by default

Still don't understand this feature is set to on by default !
After reflexion, I can imagine that it can be useful when creating a basic wireframe with blocs. But I don't think that it's the first usage of the software.
Maybe just add an feature to enable/disable it ? -

This, this, this and a million times this - so much wasted time removing unwanted borders from 99% of shapes. @Adobe, Please make this a preference or something that can be toggled - surely it can't be that difficult to implement? Please start prioritising quick wins for basic common functionality.

This is the worst feature, please please remove this as a default :( 99% of the time, I never use a stroke on shapes.

WHY IS THIS STILL AN ISSUE?! It cannot be that difficult to fix. Adobe do you even care about your consumers? Do you need a certain amount of votes in order to set something into action? If so, that's ridiculous. LITERALLY NO ONE wants this. Maybe do some user testing sometime.

It's fucking mental that Adobe still hasn't done anything about this. So out of touch.
I'm sorry designers, but I don't think we'll ever see this come to life. Literally in a thread from May 20, 2018, an Adobe employee was trying to gaslight this idea meanwhile EVERY SINGLE REPLY below her was saying otherwise and that no one likes this feature. Yet years later in 2022, it still exists. Wild. -

How is this still ongoing.... in 5 days time this issue will have been logged 4 years ago! 237 votes... it's so frustrating

Please give us the option to make a form without stroke by default...or a shortcut to remove border easily.... it is frustrating to uncheck everytime we use a single form....

At least allow there to be an option to turn off the default border on new shapes. I have to turn it off every time I make a new shape, which is just tedious drudgery when one is trying to get something done.

Please get rid of this feature or make it switchable/optional. It makes no sense. I can't believe this has not been addressed or fixed yet. Such a simple request.

Really seems like you hate your users. Why is this even default behavior? Fix it guys.

Agreed! Sometimes I forget and then I have those stupid borders in my designs. FIX THIS Adobe!

there's no reason to add border by default while other application doesn't got this "Feature". If you are so sure of this why don't implement this to Ai and PSD? You(Adobe) know too well it's annoying so please fix this already.
