Invision comes with Studio and XD are still sleeping.
Guys are you sleeping, there comes a lot of stong competitors and your Update intervalis every two month without nice features and more Bugs. Now Invision will launch Studio and it looks great.
I dont know what you do the last two years but the other are right behind.
Thanks for your feedback, guys. We have some exciting new features coming in the upcoming months, and I think you’ll be happy. That being said, this type of discussion probably belongs in the Adobe Forums (which we read as well), and not in our feature request database.

Invision Studio motion and css/assets export is what will make me switch. Hopefully you guys can release something as good in the next few months.

I also have to agree. Y'all been schleep. You kill Fireworks and let Sketch get away with replacing the UI design market. Now that InVision is about to release Studio, what's the point? I can't even open 'Preferences' in XD. Your best bet is to compete with InVision's DMS now.
I want whatever Rip Van Winkle sleep aid y'all are using. Good stuff...

I have to agree to this simple but true comment.
I'm using XD since three months. Sure, it's usable since repeat grid, symbols overrides and global color and font styles where integrated recently. But looking at Sketch with all it's features, being years ahead of Adobe and especially the upcoming Invision Studio, I'm continuosly wondering what Adobe waiting for. Time is over for wait and see, how the market will develop for prototyping tools. Invision already pushed Sketch fast forward with their Craft plugins and I wouldn't wonder if they will push to second place in a snap. They know Sketch and XD and according to the screenshots it's able to do the minimum of XD. Most of all they will deliver what XD (file inspection for developers - I love Adobe Inspect, but why isn't it available for XD? Nobody knew there's going to be a handing over at a later stage of each project) is missing and Sketch not providing (availability on Windows). They already have the infrastructure to inspect Sketch files and PSDs.
I like XD, I love Photoshop, I adore Smart Objects and Creative Cloud Libraries to adapt and evolve my workflow continuously, but if this beloved workflow comes at the cost of beeing less productive in the end, I have to reconsider my strategy.
Looking forward to a strong message from Adobe to take UI/UX seriously.

I just had a look at the Keynote and found that XD is not yet mature to a real use for modern prototyping activities. I am very sad to see that because we are early adopters of Fireworks as an awesome tool for creating prototypes and we are still using it until XD can allow us to do a switch.
Today I saw the video teaser of Invision Studio and I discovered that it will have all features we need... Yes, we have to hold on until January but will Adobe be able to evolve XD at least to a tool equal to that in less than 3 months?
We really hope so.
