Responsive Design
Would love to see a way to prototype for different screen but not to copy paste and adjust the size - make it like in Indesign that we can link files to different sizes.
Have a tool that can collect the assets and place them together into a different scree.
Hello,
With last week’s update of XD, we introduced Responsive Resize – a way to easily resize your elements as you adapt them to different screen sizes. This should massively speed up your workflow.
Download the latest version of XD to give it a try, and check out a 3 min overview of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKvg8_8jv10&t=2s
Look forward to hearing what you think!

Would also love to have an way to define elements as "fluid" or "fixed" sized, so that it can adapt different screen sizes.

For design reference, I recommend having the team look at Rapidweaver + Stacks + Foundation and Foundry. Link: https://rapidweavercommunity.com/. These tools help designers to mock up responsive websites quickly and efficiently with most all the controls available in those frameworks.

I like that symbols do not scale like grouped or independent items do. Hopefully, that is a big enough hint. Then allow the ability to set padding and break points for objects. If we could build like we do for bootstrap and foundation that would be very useful for designs and ultimately responsive prototyping.

I hate linking files. when the folder structure changes then the comp is broken. if linking is an option, then embedding them as well should be included.

Yes, i believe what he's/she's trying to say is the same as that other feature request.

I would not want this to be a part of Xd's core. I think going down this road (as previous applications like Macaw, Adobe Edge Reflow did) results in more a confusing and difficult to manage interface than speed. I do however would like extensibility to allow for Responsive Resizing as Sketch has.

if you design for one type, eg: iphone 6, you should be able esily duplicate to any other artboard size eg: ipad, androis, etc, with very few minor adjustments if need be. XD should try its best to duplicate into different artboard size to the best of it's ability

Sounds like this is similar to this request:
