Comment on shared prototype without having to sign in
People should be able to leave comments on a shared web prototype online without having to make an Adobe account.
The stakeholders we want feedback from (clients, management, etc.) do not all use Adobe CC, so requiring even a free account adds an extra barrier before people can comment.
With this month’s release of XD, your stakeholders can now sign in as a guest without a CC account and comment on your prototypes. Any prototype that already has commenting enabled should now see a “sign in as guest” option at the bottom of the comments panel if you’re not already signed in.

It'd be really helpful to be able to comment while coediting on a wireframe design!

Can guest accounts @tag each other and the project owner? Also, when someone is @taged it should send an email update to the user. Right now it is very difficult to have constructive and timely conversations about prototypes.

That's a must!

Has this been fixed yet? No sign in required, even as guest, would be necessary for this tool to work.

Can't use XD as a professional yet... This sharing and having to sign in has to be fixed. XD can be great, because it is on windows and macOS. Sketch still has the upper-hand albeit its only available on macOS.

Not completed, not addressed. Can't use XD as a professional. Clients DO NOT want to log in. I'll stick with InVision until fixed.

I dont feel this feature has been completed or addressed at all...even asking people to sign in as a guest is a barrier to sharing prototypes and doing remote user testing.

Has this feature been removed?

Started using XD from this month, great product. However the comment feature is a bit basic by allowing only text to be added. Should really support more complex reviewing features, like pen tool to highlight and circle content, or ability to add graphics to show desired design against the prototype. In general the commenting/reviewing feature needs more, much more.

Another case for adding comments to the app itself - sometimes NDA requires we keep positive control of the file.

I would like to see commenting added to the app itself. We are collaborating on a design and this would be helpful.

I think being able to allow someone to comment without having to create an adobe account would be a big plus along with another requested feature for having the link password protected. This would be a great combination.

Asking for a name should be mandatory. Email could be even optional if the person is not interested to receive notifications on further comments.

The way I use it in MS OneDrive is that I get to create URL, and everybody with this URL can open/edit the file. So if we are able to share one URL for preview and one for edit it will be great.

I agree with als comments before! Can't wait for the solution :)

Agreed! We need the ability to allow public comments.

Definitely need this! I love Adobe XD, so easy compared for wireframes to the double up in invision. But not much use if clients without accounts can't comment on it.

Sharing a prototype with a client and needing them to create an adobe account is embarrassing. Looking forward to this feature.

Just the suggestion I came here for. Is this anywhere on the pipeline? Also, as an addition to this topic, I would like to suggest a notification or comment section expanded by default when there are comments to an artboard. I find that stakeholders won't always notice the comment section.

Just asking for a name and email (like InVision does) would be enough.
