Don't expire XD every few months
I already had a bad enough experience with Adobe Scout (which also expires after a set period). This thing smells like Fireworks. Make it act like that -- as a perpetual program that runs like Photoshop or Animate or whatever.

With the Starter Plan, we don’t expire XD, but we do check to make sure you’re signed in to the Creative Cloud on a regular basis.

The Q&A (https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-design/help/faq.html) sounds like this requirement will be in place after it is officially released.

This is a preview... Things like that should be expected ! Don't complain about it and stop using it until it's officially released if you don't want this trouble
