Dynamic scrolling viewport height based on screen size
Currently, for scrolling artboards there is a fixed-position dotted line that defines the height of the viewport in the interactive preview.
For desktop web sized artboards, I'd like the position of the dotted line to automatically adjust dynamically so the prototype fills the full height of the user's screen. For example, on a laptop screen the scrollable viewport might be 960px tall and when the same prototype is viewed on a desktop monitor the viewport might be 1200px tall.

Same issue Brought me here... Its debasing presenting to a client with a view point that won't show the full Web design view as it should when developed.

This needs to be done ASAP. not having a way to open the deisgn 100% and hide the overflow like Marvelapp does is the reason I haven't switched to Xd full time yet.

Hello Support Team,
We have 1 more request.
Desktop preview height set to screen height If scrolling none to the artboard and artboard height is more than the screen height.
If it is set then nothing to do. But when we specially set scrolling none to the artboard then it should work like my question.
Thanks,

Only 135 votes!!! C'mon!!!! We are talking about 100 vh right? I am really surprised this feature is not taken seriously!

Woww only 127 votes! This would make the prototype sharing experience much better and would look a lot like a REAL website filling the whole browser height. PLEASE Adobe XD let's make this happen!

XD has a lot of room for improvement but is generally awesome. This is the one feature that I can't comprehend not integrating. Let's go Adobe! Need this now.

I'm staggered at the low vote count on this still. Surely anyone using XD for presenting website designs to clients is fed up of clients asking why the website page doesn't reach the bottom of the broswer window depending on the size of screen it is being viewed on. Baffling at best Adobe?

Right now I can add the view port height of a canvas - which is a feature that can be useful. Anyways, sometimes one just want to use a prototype on full vie port height on several devices. So that i can present a design on my PC reviewing it in the team, and maybe on a television within a meeting after - in both cases I do not necessarily need black bezels if the presentation is about the UI elements only, and not about the UX (where it could be of high importance that specific elements are within the view port on page entry, and so on).

Can anyone from Adobe give an approximate timescale for this? It seems such a fundamental omission?
Thanks

YES! This would really add to the experience the XD already gives to our clients, it would definitely look more like a finished website rather than missing something on the bottom of the screen.
I already love working with XD but this would help loads with presenting to our clients.

This is my main gripe with XD. I design web solutions and that means presenting design to clients remotely. Invision does this a lot better. But I love working in XD!

Yes, please. This is essential for desktop design preview. Just copy Invision (copy also background customizing while you're there).

When a prototype is shared with clients, they are not able to appreciate the view port height setting in XD and who can blame them? This setting does not make sense. For standard, desktop and scroll-able web pages, we have set the width of the art board and that's all we need to care about.A automatic scroll bar is also a missing option, since not everyone has a touch screen or a mouse wheel.

Any update on this? Hard to believe it has such a low vote count. Surely it’s an obvious thing to be able to do? Viewing the page design through a smaller viewport aperture on a larger screen just looks plain odd and just has the client asking why does the page not go to the bottom of my browser screen?

Yes, it's very much needed thing for core prototype software. Adobe needs to think about this and please find the appropriate solution as soon as possible. Also, revert on this so we get an idea about your attention.

I have this exact requirement as part of my project. It would be a great improvement to XD.

Totally agree this should be added. Whenever my clients view a desktop mockup on their mobile device they just have a tiny viewport to see through.
Let them see the full height!

This is by far, the most important BASIC thing to be fixed. I actually don't even understand why this was first built like this. Bummer. Team, get this done yesterday, super important.

I think I will stick to InVision for this kind of thing.
