Please create a preset canvas for paper sizes like Letter. It is difficult to get approvals from our team if we are not able to print screens on regular office printers that only print at Letter size. Thank you.

Agree, the basic international sizes for print A4, A3, Letter etc would be great.
We could then make the A4 (etc) printable product sheet; sharing the same assets from the App/web you just built (but naturally will be cutting into Illustrator/InDesign territory...)

I've created a plugin that adds more preset sizes including print! Check out Artboard Presets in the Plugin Manager or use this direct link:

What is still missing is any kind of template or preview that allows us to judge what fits on a page and how.
Exporting to pdf then printing is a tedius trail and error process. -

My team and I have found we are working in XD not only to create screen based artwork but also more for print work. Laying out a booklet or concepting ideas works very well in XD. There is an ease to the program and experience that indesign and illustrator just don't embody.
For this to be more "print" friendly which we know is not the intention with this program, we would love to see a pixel per inch option we can spec at the same time as the pixel dimension.
Currently, we create canvases that are the (inches x 300ppi) to equal the print resolution needed. However, it seems XD exports everything at 72 so exports tend to be much larger in the inch dimension when going to print.
Again, I know this is not the intention but you have created an better way of designing with XD. Would love to see XD's flow applied to the other layout apps in the Adobe Suite.

Hi Elaine, the layout varies based on developer, so I would like control over how to place the elements. Yes, it's something the developers often print to paper, so having the artboard in the standard 8.5"x11" helps. I typically send them an electronic format like PDF.

Would the feature have ability to layout the assets and development specs? I'm looking to display assets with text on a paper measurement size without having to manually type a new artboard each time.

I would like to request preset canvas for paper sizes like Letter. As a UX Designer, I often send developer specs to engineering. Typically in a pdf format on a paper size because they print them out. Instead of creating a new canvas by custom typing, I would like to press "A" for canvas and select paper sizes as one of the pre-existing templates.

Tabloid (11x17) and Letter as well

Some brief Internet research shows that A0 size is 118.9 cm x 84.1 cm. This is a request to support print.

Some of our process includes printing out designs or workflows in large format so we can take them to clients, put markers to them during feedback sessions, hang them in hallways as a project progression map. It would be great to be able to create artboards to a specified size in inches, cm, etc. and export a flattened pdf (quicker to share and view than loading in the objects layers at a time).

Having the ability to print out all the artboard's, a select few artboards, or a single artboard would help out a lot during the testing phase. When it comes to printing them out I think they should print out at the size that they are or x2. For the option to print all artboards we should be able to have the ability to have the artboards condensed or shrunk to size based on the size of the paper being printed on. This would help a lot when presenting the overall big picture.

to build a A0 Scientific-posters is ideal by using a prototype-program.
