Keyboard interaction to trigger transitions
I'd love to see the ability to transition between artboards by using the keyboard.
For the UI, I'd place a keyboard icon just below the "set as home" icon. When you click it, you can see a list of current key transitions and a button to add a new one. When you click the new button, you have a box to enter the key to bind and then an arrow to link the artboard the key will transition to.
It would be important to include the ability to link keys such as the arrow keys, space bar, escape key, etc.
Thanks!
With the May 2019 update we now support keyboard based triggers in XD. For more details refer to this – https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/keys-gamepad-triggers.html

Assigning a key to Drag or Tap interactions will further enhance prototyping a real-life product experience. For example: assigning "Enter" key for search-button, arrow-keys to a carousel like, or drag left-right interactivity, etc.

Well i think it could pretty simple but VERY useful :
Add a keyboard line to trigger transitions.See the picture linked (words in french but "clavier" = keyboard if you don't know the the translation)
Thanks !

I'd like to be able to transition/animate between artboards using keyboard entry in demos.
i.e: Rather than clicking on an element to transition to another artboard, I want the return key (or whatever key I want) to make that transition. This would be an invaluable tool for prototyping and demoing keyboard entry tasks and application shortcuts as it provides a more natural user experience in many cases.
It's currently impossible to prototype/demo this interaction, and I'm currently trying to work around it by making clickable "keyboard entry" buttons on the screen - but it still takes away the keyboard entry user experience.

Like in google calendar just tapping 'D' will change the view layout in the day mode. And we could be able to give this interactive functionality in the prototype mode.

Would be very useful for testing keyboard shortcuts or TV remotes.

for the prototype mode, this function is missing.
Not every interface are digital screen sensitive and some case need a keyboard to be controlled.
It would be a useful option... -

Using XD to protoype game interface, I need keyboard interactions to navigate thru vertical lists and grid menus... Would be awesome.
With this working, i can map a joystick to keyboard to test my work :) Thanks!
