Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    I think to present how a link works is easy to work with html framework under browsers, adobe XD is primarily for page transaction demonstration purpose, even for me I really need this tiny little feature of HTML on hand, which make me thinking that Axure RP was really powerful.

    I've got a project in which I need to show multiple scenarios and features. I want to be able to setup a menu system that allows me to share multiple prototypes from one shared link (vs giving my client multiple prototype links). I need a way to link to external URLs in order to do that.This should be a required feature for Adobe XD. I'm surprised that this isn't an option already.

    This is also helpful when we have a huge portal prototype developed in individual section and want to link these section instead of creating massive master file and maintain multiple copy of it as well.

    this is basic and required feature for XD.

    So when creating a website on XD, we cannot create functional buttons on the navigation bar?

    so confused, I tried doing some research and cannot find an answer, so XD lets you only design the website no html/css, functional buttons etc. ?

    When using the text mode it would be very useful to have a link button along-side the upper, lower-case, etc. on the end. When the user clicks the link they are met with a set of options on what to link too. If you use it feel free to hire me for more ideas ;) I am a UI/UX & App developer. I have ideas like this one by the ten-fold.
